What does CFC recognize you for?

The thing that I've always hated about join-date elitism is that there's nothing you can ever do to change it. So you will always be seen as inferior to the elite veterans, regardless of anything that you will ever do.

But to start spouting it off would be rubbing it into and alienating the newer users. A community should always be open and friendly to new users, lest it grow stale and unchanged.

And then there's also the issue of merit. How much merit does one deserve simply from having joined earlier than others? I just dislike the concept overall.

I agree. It can be a bit annoying that people judge you off of how recently you joined the site.
 
Guys, you know that "elitism" is a dirty concept around here...

My first participation on this site was in the Civ forums, and the thread got locked (not my fault, even the moderator admitted that!).
 
Aprox 50% think im a nut brained religious troll, and/or a strange hippy co exister religious troll.

Aprox 40% feel like it shows how liberal and understanding they are if there nice to me.

Aprox 10% think that my opinion is intresting (whether good or not)

in the past ive been known to be a great defender of civ 5.

I dunno who the cock you are, so I'm not in any of those percentages.

I'd probably migrate to that 10% if you learned how to English, though.
