What Is the most boring film you have seen recently

Tim, I watched that very same movie on HBO. With my wife.(Naturally:))

I kept waiting for Jenny to burst into some Hip-Hop garbage song.

But she didn't (thankfully).

At least that might have made it more interesting.

This week my wife has been watching the Rose Red miniseries. And of course, I must ALSO watch it.;)

Veeerrry boring.:(

I think 'The Blair witch project' was the most boring film I ever saw. Ever.

Recently I found Tomb Raider to be pretty dull. As in really dull!

And we all know what they were:D

And would you believe one of my friends went to see Tomb Raider 5 times!!!!!!!!! Now THATS BORING!!

I'd rather just download pictures of Angelina Jolie.

Someone mentioned "The Blair Witch Project"; I didn't think it was boring, but I also didn't find it as scary as the initial hype made it out to be. My wife, on the other hand, called it "the worst piece of garbage you've ever dragged me to".

Also speaking of boring movies, I just remembered another one. This past Halloween, my wife and I rented "Nosferatu the Vampire". She thought it was the original black-and-white (silent?) "Nosferatu" from the 1920's, but it turned out to be some cruddy European rehash of Dracula from the 80's or 90's. We were lying there on the couch, both appalled at the badness of the movie but neither one wanting to get up and shut off the VCR, so... let's just say we found other things to do that were much more interesting than the movie.

So in the end, I would say the movie itself was pretty boring, but the time we spent watching it wasn't.

The Mexican.
Absolutly unwatchable. I actually was squinting in the darkness trying to read the ingredients on the popcorn bucket just to pass the time.

i usually enjoy the few movies i go to, and i usually try to enjoy the good parts and ignore the shallow parts. anyway, LotR was the BEST movie i ever seen, so i went to see it three times. if you havent seen it, you should. its three hours of pure movie pleasure.

Hey! I've seen Tomb Raider with my friends. We actually liked watching it, not because it was good or something, but because it was so hilarious. We actually laughed most of the trough the movie. It's just about attidute.

Avoid this crappy flick;

PEARL HARBOUR...The worst!

CGI looks pretty,
Annoying cast,
historically distorted beyond control,
A vile formula romance,
A patronising mess,

And an insult to the brave personnel who died in WW2.

 Made me cry, that movie was SO horrible! Damn Nationalism! Thats what it is... propaganda! Anti Japs!

I really hated the "battlescenes". How irritating! The planes never dove in and out of buildings!

They just HAD to add a romance... "Uh, director, uh, all the other movies have love and, uh, maybe we could get some idiots to fall in love and the guy dies!" "Great Idea! So original... I will let you be the guy to die!" I don't think I ahave seen one movie from the US in the last decade without love or cheesy comedy. Never any of the old classics anymore, like Tora Tora Tora! or The Longest Day.

i was warned so i skipped the first one and a half hour of pearl harbour, but not even the battle was worth to see. just like in the latest star wars movie, the computer animations looked more like cartoon then realistic.

the should be a rule: no romance in war movies.

There's no way in heck I'd ever watch "Pearl Harbor." That movie was an insult to all of the people that fought, served, and lost their lives on that fateful day.

"Tora, Tora, Tora" is by far, a superior (and more accurate) movie depicting the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

Obviously the makers of Pearl Harbor have never seen documentary footage. The aftermath of the attack left the ships billowing with thick black smoke, not scenic plumes of bright orange flames.

And don't even get me started with the cockememy dogfight when Affleck and Hartnett get in their fighters!

Most overrated films of all time: Apocalypse Now and Blair Witch Project.

Recently? Has to be Lord of the Rings. The film is not a patch on the book or the radio/tape series. Terrible casting and a plot compression that really exposes all the weakpoints of the original's linearity. Your mileage may vary.

your kidding me. Right stomerne?
Maybe the movie didnt follow the book but it was great!

Bounce, and 'girls hate boys' or sumthing. Some old video. oh yeah, and the south park movie.

I thought LOTR rocked...and I have read the books, heard the BBC radio 4 play and enjoyed them all.

I guess you are enjoying "The Now Shows" adaption of the Lord of the Rings! (I am aswell! "The public Boromir requirement" "That joko is the humour of Morrrrrdorrrrrrrrrr" :b

As for this thread: most boring film I have seen recently is:

Ronin...I really haven't seen any boring films recently, but that one has been the most (if you are discounting "Phoenix Rising" by Cheap Movies :p )
