I've been impressed with our newly refurbished State Library which makes an excellent base for research.

So what's your local library facilities like? Where would you go to do most of your serious research?

If I need to research, I just use the internet.

I too use the state library/archives, living in the capital has its perks.

I use either the city library or the university (that is, the University of South Alabama) library, depending on whether or not my father is available. (If he is, it's off to the uni we go; if not, I have to settle for city's.)

Yep, there's nothing like having the choice between Hillbillyville, USA's library and Hillbilly University's library. ;)

"Hillbilly" is a vey self-effacing description of the Univ and the library. Curiosity roused, Googled for USA (Univ of S. Alabama :) ) and got this jazzy pic:

Yep, it's really a very good (at least for my purposes) and cool-modern-looking library. :)

I'll use the school library or the Internet to do serious research.
