I just saw 300 :goodjob:
It's cool. The dreadfully historical inaccuracy can be easly overlooked.

Emmanuelle 2 - Emmanuelle L'Antiviergie

Pervert. I used to watch those when I was young because there were the only movies like that they showed on TV back then.

I just saw Donnie Darko - incredible movie.

I hope that's the Tears for Fears version.
Nope, it's the Michael Andrews & Gary Jules version.

Ironically, Tears for Fears did contribute to the soundtrack of the movie with "Head over Heels".

The TfF is much better.
I'll look for that ...
Jan Wayne's house version is cool too.

I think the one in the movie is the original tho - it's so peacefull ... so sad ...

I saw The Lives of Others (Das Leben Der Anderen) 2 days ago.

Pretty awesome flick. Great drama, great villain, great actors. Recommended.

4.5/5

Children of Men. Sucked.

YES!

I hate how everyone I've talked too has said that movie is genius. The whole thing seemed like a goddamn green party ad.

It was dull, predictable, by the numbers, and I didnt care enough about the characters to sit through all the depressing brutality in the film.

You have to admire the little details of the dystopian future though. The setting did seem plausible, unlike some sci-fi films.

Reasonably plausible, yes. Although, if I really wanted to nitpick, if the world was already around 20 years into the belief that it was doomed, and they were the last generation, things wouldnt be anywhere near as stable and routine as depicted in the film. In real life all you need for chaos to erupt is a really bad storm, or two buildings being knocked down.
