It once was said that any discussion among men boiled down to a discussion of god or sex. One should take this a bit tongue in cheek, I suppose. But to my mind, there is some truth to that. Perhaps then likewise one might say, that any struggle of a man boils down to a struggle with God or a woman.

And you all know what they say about matters of love or war.

And there are as many kind of types of wars, as there are stars.

I do find Ayahuasca interesting myself, but I got a funny feeling about chemical DMT, as a side note.

At last I would like to emphasize, that „drugs are bad mkay“ is a solid rule of thumb. Yet, there is an exception to every rule. With some exceptions, naturally. Still, sober is the way.

That said, funny song:

That... well, I liked the finish.

Ninja-EdIt: Nah... let go of it... instead have another one of my guilty pleasures
Spoiler :

Spoiler because this song is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine (the title of the song is just a weird coincidence – just a name, after all)
Spoiler :

Now that certainly was again enough attention-grabbing from my side. Will now leave the floor to other posters. Excuse me, no more.

Somewhat lesser known stuff.

Black Nail Cabaret - No Gold

Katha Mia lost her hair to charity but female drummers are always cool. Manuel was later lost to general boredom so last times to see them with this line-up.

Mono Inc. - Gothic Queen (live)

Refreshing one the catchiest earworms.

State of the Union - Radioman

fudge You the system !

The soundtrack to the 1974 Japanese movie Catastrophe (aka, The Prophecies of Nostradamus) is pretty good, especially when playing Civ.

I am partying like it's 1982. Alles klar herr kommissar? I wouldn't if I were you; I know what she can do.

I'm on a bit of a dive into German folk rock recently. Been a fan of Faun for quite while now, but only recently started looking deeper into the scene, finding bands like Santiano and these guys:

The Jesus Lizard are, in my experience, an under-appreciated band. In fact, I think the whole Chicago scene didn't get a lot of attention back in the day. Naked Raygun. Big Black. "Mouth Breather" is another demonstration of a drummer using his foot pedals for more than just keeping time. For anyone who watched Shining Girls, at one point Kirby's mom mentions that she's opening for this band.

Obscure Music Subgenre of the Day: Post-punk bands with women singers.

Pylon - Athens, GA - "Danger"

The Au Pairs - Birmingham, UK - "It's Obvious"

Suburban Lawns - Los Angeles, CA - "Janitor"

Throwing Muses - Newport, RI - "Green"
