Have been listening to Morgan Wade's new album, "Psychopath". She's definitely exploring more than the cigarettes and whisky kind of dark country she was doing -- a LOT of musical variety here. I prefer when it's just her voice and a guitar, but definitely not opposed to an artist experimenting
I thought we'd grow old, and I'd take your name
Spend Friday nights playing board games
And tucking our kids in bed at home
Now, I'm watching all the people walking down the street
And the losers kicking rocks look just like me
I wish I was still sixteen
And I didn't know the world was so damn mean
I wish I was naive
I wish I was naive
I wish I was sixteen
We said we wouldn't get jobs and we'd burn our bras
We wouldn't turn out nothing like our moms
I didn't, but I wish I did
