Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers -- You Get Me High.
Not the studio version but a live version done in Essen, Germany. I remember Petty saying that this song was improvised onstage in Europe although my notes don't say what show it was at. But I have a feeling it was this show ... 'cause you can see him sort of pausing between the lines as though hes trying to figure out what to say. And the Heartbreakers just play along. Youd really have to see the video (yes its a video) to understand what the heck Im talking about
Especially looking at the gig list from that Europe tour. Essen is near the beginning of the list. OK, now Im overanalyzing.
