What subs do you have?

I have a 7”, a 12” and a 4” but that one is definitely looking for a new home.

Runescape, Nintendo Online, Xbox Live, Amazon Prime. All I can think of at the moment.

Internet+cable tv (without having tv I just use the internet) $36
Phone and Mobile Data $15

And nothing else. I spend my money to buy stuff (weird stuff also) for me and fam, like toys, books until look like real weapon that made of hard foam, sport gears and ordering food outside. Back then I use so many Uber application, but now the office lend me a car, and a staff who can drove me around.

Alexa keeps signing us up for Amazon's music service because the kids like to ask her to play music for them. Kind of annoying. I'm sure if I were more tech savvy I could block that but haven't figured it out yet. She seems like a good way to circumvent parental control.

I like banh mi, fried chicken, caprese, that kind of stuff. there are no good sandwich shops nearby sadly. but no, really.

wow, you guys sure are down with subscriptions. I only have one, Spotify, which I only considered because I get it at 50% off. I don't even have a subscription for my phone, I manually transer money to my sim card every other month. I guess it makes me feel more in control about the flow of my money.

I don't talk about people locked in my basement for mutual "alternative recreational endeavours?"

Oh, I think I misunderstood the thread title there... :p

This sounds like fraud to be honest. I am surprised they haven't been sued for this sort of thing already.

I have Prime's basic music service and I used to listen to it a lot but it become complete garbage when they came out with the premium music service. I don't even buy single songs there anymore because Pandora's catalog has expanded to the point where I cannot remember a single song I couldn't find there in the last few years. Before that though, Pandora kind of sucked and I only stuck with it out of laziness.

They're even getting into Podcasts which will be awesome for me if they pick up all my shows as I don't like the app I use that much.

I was 99% sure that Alexa won't actually sign you up based on spoken word because you still have to enter your payment details manually to confirm.

That's what I thought too but we keep having to cancel it. Its weird.

I would be surprised if there isn't a lawsuit being built on this as we speak for children siphoning thousands of dollars from their parents via Alexa

Costco
Internet cable and phone
Various psychology/psychiatry trade publications
Licensing fees and malpractice insurance
Amazon Prime
Netflix
Some fashion magazines
Microsoft Office 365
MalwareBytes Antivirus

I lead a dull life, it would seem.

Oh and I will never have Alexa in my house.

on the contrary, you're one of the few people in this thread who're using subs for publications /magazines, and I appreciate that. too few people are ready to pay for quality science/journalism/lit. If I had more money I'd probably sub to a newspaper and some music magazines, too.
