In Fallout 3, how the fudge am I supposed to kill feral ghoul reavers? They just won't die

I think I broke the game

I can't turn or move, I can't even open the Pip-Boy or main menu. And I have no idea what I even did.

I was able to solve this by telling Dogmeat to wait outside the door. I'm technically not supposed to have Dogmeat with me anyways (I used cheats to teleport him in) so I guess it confused the game scripting.

So thanks @aimeeandbeatles for the players guide but I haven't had a chance to read through it. Does anyone have tips on how to make money in Sim CIty 4? I think I've overbuilt my city for its low population but I don't know how else to manage the traffic. I've only got 35k citizens and about -$12k/mo in expenses....

My expansion proceeded differently than how I usually do it. Not bad mind, just different. Going to have to approach this conflict in a different manner than I usually do.

Isn't that every war vs other players though? People tend to do unexpected things. Even basic things like "which province will this person choose".

Steam had a game I used to love as a teen on sale this weekend, Seven Kingdoms 2. It's an RTS empire builder from the late 90s that kind of got overshadowed by games like AoE and such. Its pretty bare bones by today's standards but it had some neat aspects other rts games didn't including an espionage system. Had fun with it a bit last night. I'm likely to dump a few hours into it this weekend.

Overexpansion too early is a common mistake.

a) Make sure your power plant isn't generating too much power. That's a big money funnel.
b) You don't really need services at first, just power. You might want to remove them.
c) Don't be afraid to raise taxes.
d) Lots of tips here: https://old.reddit.com/r/simcity4/comments/353818/why_cant_i_make_money_in_my_cities/
e) cough
Thank you! I downloaded the cheat plugin and was able to give myself infinite money. That's what I really was after because it lets me sandbox the game and figure out how the mechanics work without going perpetually broke.

I like the art style of SimCity 3000 better than SimCity 4, however, the level detail is so low in SimCity 3000 that 4 is much easier to look at. The terrain mapping tools in 4 are both better and worse than in 3000 - before you start a city you have a ton of terrain editing tools which are awesome. But then once you actually start a city, the terrain editing tools are stripped down to the bare minimum which is less than what was in the previous game. The music in 4 has some OK ditties but it also has some awful ones so 3000 wins in the soundtrack by a huge margin. On the other hand, 4 has better ambient sounds and more variety in them.

I do appreciate all the new tiers of government buildings like police kiosks and big parks. I also like all the transportation options but am struggling to use them correctly. The auto-road generation is super helpful and I have the basics of traffic management (buses, trains, subways, roads, avenues) down but am struggling with some of the more advanced options like freight rail and monorail systems.

I think I'm overall going to love the game now that I have infinite money. :D

Oddly, after a while the spider will start shooting out red lasers from its eyes.
