Maybe I'll just go play something else.

I decided to play something else.

The second time the tram stopped moving.

So I went and played more Cities: Skylines. Unfortunately I forgot to save my first city so I had to start a new one.

I tried Master of Orion 1 last night and it was heavily meh. It has the same archaic interface issues that the original Fallout had but not as bad. I see that Sword of the Stars heavily cribbed off this game which is pretty cool. I really want to like MoO but it's just not doing it for me. I got into combat one time but it turned out the star next to me was the Orion star and the guardian destroyed my unnarmed scout in 2.5 seconds so I didn't have time to try and learn how to do combat in the game.

I really loathe having to read an entire walkthrough just to learn the basics of controls. I do understand how most of it works now outside of combat but it's just not doing it for me. I'll try again at some point though.

EDIT: I can see how this was a ground breaking game for the time, for sure.

IMHO MoO 2 is far better ;) You can try MoO 2

Syn got it right. IT is Silent Storm and its sequel Sentinels.

Hope you enjoy it. :)

Oh it's great ! Should I grind my characters ? I discovered that when I shoot in the air , my shooting skills rise :) Any more hints/tips/tricks ? :) I am only dissapointed that my scout can't pick locks :/

I got both MoO 1 and 2 bundled for like $3 so I plan on trying MoO 2 after giving the first one another college try. I also picked up Into the Breach for free which I want to give a spin.

I like video games

Video games are fun and I like them

I tried playing Cities Skylines but quit after about five minutes. I just don't have the energy to learn how to play, there's so much to read.

Cities Skylines is like Football Manager for me: I've enjoyed it before, so I figure I'd enjoy it again, but it's such a beast. Every time I think about downloading it for another go-round, I remember how time-consuming and involved it is and change my mind. They're just too much work.

Back in the day, whenever you would load FO4 on Christmas and go to Diamond City, the city would have Christmas lights strung up anywhere.

I never experienced this back when the game released but I made a trek into Diamond City on this Christmas only to find it wasn't lit up.... Not sure if they patched it out or if the mods I'm using broke that feature. Sad either way. I checked to make sure my system clock was set correctly as well.

"Back in the day"? 2015 ain't exactly ancient history.

I can't even remember if any good memes from the Before Time have stuck around. Everything seems pretty new.

Been doing a completionist run in Saints Row 3. Pretty sure I won't do the collectibles, though. So I guess I'm doing a 95% completion run.

I've been trying out new idle games on mobile. Come across a few stinkers, but Tap Civilization and Zen Idle are good so far. The music is surprisingly good and doesn't make me want to claw my ear drums out, especially the music from Zen Idle. Gameplay doesn't seem artificially limited by P2W mechanics -- Zen Idle can be sped up through ads and such, as you might expect, but their ad module crashes the game 80% of the time so I don't bother.
