Wrong. If somebody is trying to rob me my goal at that point is to harm them so bad that paramedics need to be called.

Get a knife. Like other posters said, if a gun is pulled then game over & hand over whatever material possessions they want.

none. if you bring out a weapon, then they will have no reason not to use theirs. you will precipitate a worse fight than by not having one.
