What web browser do you use/favorite?

Given the choice, what web browser would you use?

I personally use Chrome whenever possible however my school's site required that I use IE and have all the firewalls and stuff disabled so I use Chrome for everything and never use IE except for when doing my schoolwork.

I can't believe I forgot to include Internet Explorer as an option!


Admin: Is it possible for an Admin to add an option to a poll? If so, could you please add Internet Explorer? Thanks.

I have Opera, IE, Chromium and Firefox installed.

I use all of them, Opera the most.

I use Opera, Firefox and Chrome, in that order. I also can't even remember the last time something did not work in Opera (though it has occasionally happened, but is rare).

I use Firefox, heavily enhanced with add-ons, including IE Tab 2 for IE compatibility. I hardly ever have to fire up IE on its own.

Firefox has worked well enough for me that I haven't felt the need to try the others.

What do you do when you want to use websites made in the past 5 years, post-2006?

I use Firefox for browsing ... with Noscript and ad-block and IE for "business" sites.

I tried chrome and Opera but hit sites it did not work well with and thought I'll stick to FF for the time being. However, I am not too keen on FF 4 as it looks like it has copied a lot of Chrome in the interface design and IE9 as well, but I will wait until the official releases before making my next decision.

May give Opera a another try in the meantime.

I use Safari on OS X because it's quite fast while still being able to have add-ons, the only reason it crashes is damned flash

I find that the only thing that crashes my web browsers is Adobe Reader. I HATE that crappy program (and yes I have foxit installed, but in Opera it still opens up in Adobe).

Safari and Chrome are both webkit...

In my experience, safari has been quite slow, loading a page by displaying it as white.

I use Mozilla Firefox. Some sites dont like that so I use IE Tab 2 for those. Those sites are getting harder to find less common though.

I use Firefox on the PCs (I'm a fan of open-source stuff) and Safari on the Touch.

On Macs Safari is fast and stable (except flash)
