What would you do if you were invisible?

It might be cool at first, but if I was stuck that way I can see where it would get pretty fubar'ed pretty quickly.

Wow what a waste of a usefull ability. Doing dumb stuff like that, you'll let people know that theres an invisible person running around and they will deploy other means of detecting you (infra red for example). No, you have to be really low key about it or you'll ruin it for all the other invisible people out there. Of course with this ability, you have a number of ways of getting easy access to cash. Resist the temptation to rob banks, eventually they'll start catching on and deploy the infra red scanners or god knows what types of sensors. Helping yourself to cash registers in stores after theyve closed is alot easier but its not a long term strategy for gaining financial independance because the sums will be small and most places clean out the cash registers after closing time anyway. The best way to make this ability pay off for you financially is to steal from people who cant report the theft, and dont have the know how or resources to stop it, like drug dealers. The ringleaders always have absurd amounts of money laying around in small unmarked bills. Go to the worst neighborhood in your town/city (its safe now! youre invisible!)and observe the drug transactions for a few days and follow the various street dealers around to see where they drop off the money. The rest is obvious. Slip into the apartment with the money, wait till everyone in their is either asleep or out, then simply walk away with it. Youd only need to do this once or twice a month and youd be livin' large. Of course you must donate at least %20 to drug treatment programs or youd be drummed out of the American Invisibility League. Sorry, no unlicensed unauthorized invisible people are allowed to run loose. All rules of the League must be observed or you will be liquidated to protect the rest of the group. Trust me, you dont want 10 or 20 invisible people out there dead set on poppin' a cap on ya.

I'd get into the vault where they keep all the beyond top secret stuff filed away.. If I managed to read all that in this lifetime and was still invisible, I'd go visit some girls locker rooms. If I got sick of that and were still invisible with no way to become visible again, I'd go insane.

Like some've said, I'll try to make myself visible again. While being invisible can seem cool, it's not good for practical day-to-day living.

Its only usefull if it can be turned on and off at will, permanent invisibility would be horrible.

if your invisible, you cain't see -- if you don't interact with light, how can you see it?

also if you can't be detected with regular light sensors then you probobly wouldn't be detected by other frecuencies of EM waves

I would do good things. Crime fight, 'spy' on government wrong doings, 'guardian angel' kind of thing, but I would also agree that looking through the 'top secret' vaults would be cool - area 51, etc.
