For some reason, I had a strange dream last night that Bill gates was on this forum and I was desperately trying to delete this message before he saw it.
I'd make him play civ3 on diety , huge map , and ask him to finish the game in an hour by histograph . His keyboard will have no Ctrl , Alt , or Del keys .To top it all , he'd be using WinXP with 16 Mb ram and a 100 % fragmented hard disk + 13 applications running in the background .This , that is , if he wnats to get out of afghanistan .
Hang him. Pillage the Evil Empire of MS, and plow a furrow down the middle of the MS campus and fill it with salt. Read about the Roman Solution to the Carthage Problem to get the background .
I suppose most of you do not know the data that MS can collect on you, your files, and computer starting with the hash codes in XP. It is MS's avowed intention to no longer allow users to buy complete software... they want to monitor you and your machine in real time via an Internet connection and have the central MS servers authenticate and approve/disapprove your mouseclicks when you start programs. The prototyping for this massive undertaking is going on as we speak in Redmond... and the server farms of MSN are working out the many many bugs that so far prevent MS from activating this (so far they don't do anything but collect info about you and your machine, and officailly state that it is both secure in MS's hands, and they don't sell it to others).
I always thought long slow torture was the way to go. This is where i would need i time machine. Go get so medival experts from the inqusition and or Soviet Russia. So pilli-winks would work wonders. Have him flogger with a Cat of Nine every four days for a year. Dipping it in tar and glass first of course. Let thus torture experts work on him for about three months. Get all those codes that let me control all your ms software. Then slice open his gut put some burning coals inside and sow him back up. Then a couple weeks later. Draw and Quater him using horses.
