Whats better, ninjas or pirates?

We tried this poll at my school before giving up at 67 to 67. Thats when we decided the following:

Let Ninjas be as cool as Pirates, and Pirates as cool as Ninjas.

However, if a Pirate is to fight a Ninja on a roof, the Ninja would win. If the Ninja fights a Pirate on a boat, the Pirate would win.

Long story short, the ultimate solution is obviously the "Pirateninja" which is some sort of sea travelling thief who wields a Katana, can hop really high and has an eyepatch.
