What's going on with Creation, Force and Dimensional mana?

I was a little surprised when Ice came out that these were not included. Are there currently plans to implement the last three lonely mana types, or have they been scrapped? The Kuriotates, Grigori and Sheaim would appreciate it, I think, and there is no shortage of suggestions for what each should do.

They probably won't be implemented, but if we come of with 3 a full set of spells for one of those spheres that Kael likes he may very well change his mind. There is a decent chance that Dimensional will return, but the other two are very unlikely.

First we'll see implementation of the "douchetoolz" sphere for that not-so-forum-fresh feeling. After that, we might have some hope for a few more pathetic summoned units of rotten strength and nigh-useless affinity that won't smell that different from the other mana spheres.

Oh, nevermind me. I'm cynical.

If we are to come up with something it has to be something that is needed, mechanic-wise, something unique, and something that will make an impact on gameplay. Kael has to like it, and it has to be a complete sphere. He likes Escape for Dimensional I, that I know.

Since this is the final version of FfH2 I assumes there wasn't much point in suggesting new stuff. Am I right in assuming this is the exception? Kael? Because I would be all over this if it is.

I'm pretty sure he said on another thread that if someone came up with spells that he liked, the spheres would be added in. Try searching through some of the threads about mana, you might find the post in question.

Second post:

"Ive read a ton of ideas for creation mana and I've never seen one that I really got excited about. They are all designed backwards (as an attempt to find a feature to fill out the spreadsheet, instead of finding a design need and using the spell to address it).

I know of 1 force spell that I like and 2 good dimensional spells. So I guess it would be possible that those spheres get added, but chances are still low."

Well, if the Elohim didn't have it, I'd suggest a suicidal version of Sanctuary for Force 3, but now...

Assuming we take Escape for D1 and Portal for D3, Dimension would already have enough portal-related spells... people keep suggesting an unsummon spell, perhaps bringing back the old Ring of Warding and make it provide general protection against spells and stuff. Another possibility would be a silencing spell, perhaps? Oh well, I'm starting at the wrong end.

I am not having any ideas for Creation, though, as terraforming is Nature/perhaps Earth's domain.

Creation:
1 - Create a healing salve
2 - Potion of invisibility
3 - Not a clue. I would say potion of restoration, but spell staff pretty much does the same thing.

Meh. That sounds like a theme that is going to require a lot of micromanagement and all the stuff is more or less covered by other spheres. Also, the spells are overpowered.

I don't like this at all.

Just throwing out the idea that it could create objects, you know, live up to its name. :P

having banish as dimensional 2 makes sense and would be a good new mechanic imho. there's many summons out there, having an anti-summon spell would be good.

...yes, if it wasn't entirely pointless except against Summoner Leaders. All other summons simply die after one turn, Banish or not. Not to mention that you could simply summon another summon. Nah, the only way this could work would be a passive unsummon when the summons attack the stack.

Passive unsummon that only affects the Casters stack? That's powerful, but limited which sounds great for tier 2.

...well, I'd like it to have a chance to let the summons through regardless, perhaps 40% or so., but I'd be fine either way.

If you can't pass it along, and it only works on the one stack, a low percentage would be good. You can't give it to anyone, so it needs to perform the function pretty well.

perhaps make it a buff for less micromanagment..

dimensional warding:
+ 50% vs summoned Units
10% chance to wear off per turn
