I'd like it noted that not only do I make fun Bono as an individual, I also deride U2 and its music. They, as well as The Wild Strawberries, are the current banes of my existence, though Sting is jockeying for position.

I know Bono can come across as a bit of a wanker, and I really dislike his pandering to the Labour party, but he does some good charity work. No one can deny that.

The Montreal Gatteze's Arts and Life colunm had an article on U2, mostly negative: It noted at U2 website had very little on the Indian Ocean Earthquake disater. In fact, it did not talk about it for several days.
The Labour Party is not the only party with Bono has delt with: the Liberal Party of Canada had Bono as a guest speaker at the cornation of Paul Martin.
