When did you start to shave regularily? (only if you're man & shave for some time)

My question is simple. I saw another thread about shaving and I thought I ask this here.

At what age did you start to shave regularily? I mean not that you were seeing some little hair on your face when you were 7, you said "I want to shave" and you did it once.

I'm curious as I see I'm starting to have pretty annoying moustache and some annoying hair below my mouth, but my father started shaving only when he was 17.

Of course, I want answers only from men (because women most likely shave their facial hair only after a certain age when they start to look like a man, and I'm not interested about that age).

And BTW, I'm only refering to shaving facial hair, not hair from any other parts of your body.

im 19, and only shave every week or so.. i could shave every day if i wanted baby soft etc every day.. but im a student so can rarely be arsed!

Definitely before I turned 18 as I recall having to shave daily at college from day one. So probably when I was 17.

probabably within the last couple of months or so its got to the state i could shave if i felt like it...

Bright day
Fifteen, by eighteen I stopped and just crop my beard and trim my moustache.

i started having to shave around 16 every few weeks or so to get rid of side burns that grew in like david spade in joe dirt. Now i can use a shave everyday, but with summer and no job or girlfriend i really don't have the motivation and will go for about a week before it really bothers me.

I started having to shave regularly when I was 16 or 17, but fortunately I can get away without shaving for a few days because of my hair colour:)

I hate shaving, but thankfully I'm a student so I can get away with looking scruffy:D

I have had to shave every day since I was 13 or fourteen years old. Being part Lebanese is probably the reason why. So that makes over 22 years of shaving

I started shaving when I was 14.

I'm so damn lazy, however, that most of the time I don't even bother.

If I don't shave, I get a goatee, a crappy excuse for a mustache, sideburns and some chops. Not a full beard quite yet.

I started to shave when I was 17 but I only needed to do so about every third day. Now I am 20 years old and I still really only need to shave ever other day, but I shave daily because I get a little rat moustache and beard by the end of the day. Unfortuantely I inhereted my dads face, I have very thin hair so it is very impossible (at least at this point) to grow a goatee...which I really really wanna get...:(

EDIT: I would like to add to this conversation: What is your shaving method? When I first started I used electric razors, but it was a hand me down and I didn't want to spend 70$ on a new one, that's when I realized it's more fun and you get a closer shave to using a blade and cream. Thanks Edge! :)

I used blade and cream (Gillete), same as my father. Now I use scissors and that electrical machine for hair...

Age 13? I was an early bloomer facial-hair-wise. Used a Norelco electric razor to get rid of the little hairs on my chin. Norelco makes the best electric razor, in my opinion.

When I started dating at age 17 my girlfriend complained that it wasn't close enough a shave for her comfort and I switched to a safety razor, which I've used ever since. I like three-blade disposables. Two blades is too skimpy, four is overkill, three is just right.

The 3-blade Mach3 is what I use, water, no shaving cream. They put a little bit of aloe or something into the blade so it slow-releases, I think. Works adequately for me.

And Victor Khayam (Remington 'shaves as close as a blade or your money back' guy) can kiss my hairy ass, no WAY his electrics shave close enough for me.

I started shaving about every week when I turned 16. Now, its about every day. I have very dark hair, so I cant really hide it if I forget to shave (which I do....often, much to my girlfriend's dismay). I use an electric most days for convience, but if I have to look real snazzy, or if I havent shaved in a few days, i use a safety razor, (water + cream)

I started shaving once a month or so when I was 18 as a college freshman, I still only shave once a week, every Monday morning for the week of work. I doubt that will ever change, I am far past the point of increased hair growth...

I think I was 16, and regularly meant every tuesday...
Now I shave whenever I have the feeling my beard is too long...

Daily with an electric shaver at 18.
