Where you stand on the political compass..

So does anyone who is really bored want to take everyone's answers and average them out so we get the average user on the forums?

I got bored :p

Economic Left/Right: -2.02
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.71

Should be somewhere between vbraun's and MattBrown's avatars on the graph. My average definitely contains errors, so it is not completely accurate.

I did a test to find out how biased the servey was by agreeing to every statement (if you dont have an opinion you generally just agree because that is easier then disagreeing, therefor i figured this should be an acurate test of the serveys bias).

The results:
Economic Left/Right: 0.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 2.41

Not that bad.

Economic Left/Right: 1.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.62

I used to be about -6, -6. I flip-flopped. A LOT!

I think it is safe to say there are more people in the Libertarian Left quadrant than the other three combined.

People at CFC are young.

Usually, people shift more towards the right (economically/fiscally), when they get older (and wiser ;) ). A logical thing as young people often believe in the abilities of a public sector, until they meet the point where a strong public sector actually shows it flaws.

When it comes to the vertical position. I don't know, except that it is logical to be in the lower half.
I consider anybody on the top half pretty nuts, but I think that migth have been clear from my stance on some issues.
I've never really understood why people want to mess up other peoples lifes.

wahey! I'm even more left-wing and libertarian than Ghandi!

That's quite a relief actually, as for the last year or so I've been drifting more and more towards the centre.

I predicted mine, and this is what I've been calling myself:

On the Rightside of the Leftwing Libertarians.

Your score seems rather goose-stepping inclined to me. :hmm:

Economic Left/Right: 7.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.87

Boy have I moved socially... I used to be +3 a couple years ago.

economic: 0.50
social: 1.33

Okay guys, I've just created the CFC Political Compass Avatar Graph.
This isn't as accurate as the others, but it's easier to look at.
Maybe a Mod could sticky this file?
Anyway, this can quaite easily be edited u and have avatars m oved, added, or deleted at whim.
If anyone wants to have a look at it, feel free to PM me with your email adress, and I will send you the file in Powerpoint format.
Disclaimer:The opinions stated on this graph are not my own, except for the Goose-stepping morons, anarchist nutters and God-hating commies.

Nice. :goodjob:
One problem only. Noam Chomsky is an anarchist and so am I. Ayn Rand was not.
I must confess I am a bit fed up with that those proprietarians hi-jacking the concept of anarchy (anarchy is not only anti-state, it is also anti-private despots), it feels like a slap in the face to the pioneers of said ideology.

I don't remember if I took this test before, and I am to lazy to wade through all those pages, so I just (re-?)took it now.
My result:
Economic Left/Right: -9.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -9.13

And here I was hoping for a perfect ten...

I know Ayn Rand wasn't a true Libertarian, but I couldn't think of any famous others.

Try Murray Rothbard:
