CoD4, which i have played with friends and on-line, does require strategy, and a certain amount of skill. As in, you actually have to take cover instead of LOL I GOT THIS GUYZZ and the proceed to jump like an ass and throw grenades everywhere while shooting blindly (Halo).

Starcraft, yes, maybe, Warcraft 3 is also awesome (dota anyone?) I prefer RTS over almost ALL games.

MMORPGS on the other hand. I've played Guild Wars and the PvP is a joke compared.
Warhammer, i have not played :'( i want to, cause i want ot see if it will actually be better than WoW, however right now WoW arena (not PvE, raiding, leveling or any of that) takes MUCH more skill than Halo, which is simply point, shoot, and thats it.

Why?

WoW Arena takes an indepth knowledge of your class and ALL the other classes (the other 8) in the game. Unlike Halo, where you have a total of maybe 8 buttons to use, most of which you will only use on rare occasions, WoW arena requires you to use ALL, let me stress this, ALL your spells in response to rapidly changing circumstances. You have to anticipate the opponents attack and respond in kind and in some cases anticipate their anticipation. You have to keep running timers of the opponents cooldowns, diminishing returns timers, keep track of where they are so you don't get caught LOS of a shadow priest with a rogue on your ass and then get BLOWN UP in a stun lock with a blackout proc and a silence. I've lost matches because i was .5 of a secodn to late in cycloning a rogue on my rogue, causing my teammate to get kidneyshot nad WTH owned by a mage shatter combo while im siting there with my thumb up my nose in a Counter spell for 4 freakin seconds and then a blind (second blind after the trinket).

The reason why i think WoW Arena takes so much more skill than Halo (and in a lesser effect CoD4 but i still love CoD4), because you have to have so much knowledge in order to play it, and be using that knowledge within seconds of game play, while in Halo, you simply have to point and shoot or get the sniper rifle lol "I HAZ SNIPPERS LULUL WIN"
