So yeah, at the Quizbowl tournament I went to Saturday, the Tournament Director decided to Rickroll all of us in the Auditorium while we were waiting for prelim stats to be entered. Honestly, I think Rickrolling is past its prime.

Yeah, LightFang and I get rickrolled on CnB all the time. Then again, I overuse "ballssteel", so it works out in the end.

It's a Team Fortress 2 server. The CFC Steam group hangs out there a lot. The expansion of the acronym is obvious and vulgar.

Feh. I don't DISLIKE American football, just the professional kind. But noooo, Dachs is too insensitive to inquire into my deep Notre Dame loyalties.

I went and reread the WWW2 thing, and I contend that true realism will never, ever, EVAR be attainable in a NES, because then it wouldn't be a game. In the end, we're just adjusting the EU2 sliding scale between 'extreme ease of play' and 'rendering individual blood droplets'.

Even so, the attempt to push the envelope of enhanced realism through Storyist and Simulationist methods (woo terminology) is a good plan, as long as we don't shoot for the mythical (and nonexistent) Nirvana of Total Realism. That's a mod on CFC; it's copyrighted.

So long as it is superior to the mod on the Total War Center, I'd be happy with it. Rome: Total Realism is nothing of the sort; they overpower Makedonia something crazy. I mean, there's a difference between "not as pathetically weak as in vanilla R:TW" and "teh ubars pikemans and cash monies".

No, the forums in general are extremely slow. They operate in fits and starts and it's getting annoying.

I've never had a problem editing my posts. I do it quite often, through I often fail to do it with any form of speed/success/stealth. Why would the forums being slow justify double posting?
