Might be helpful, I suppose, but join date works just as well. I wasn't in LINES or LINES II, two of the apparently iconic NESes of the past few years, despite being a member of the Fifth Generation.

Lots of people were teenagers when they started NESing. :p I know I was 14 when I started NESing, NK was younger than that, and das was even younger than that. Not that this is an excuse to make fun of sp1023.

Naïveté is one thing, and I personally don't have a problem with it. (Though it would be nice if he looked some stuff up for himself once in a while. :p) But in DipNES06 there was an issue wherein he had trouble understanding the (relatively simple, which nobody I know has had an issue with before) rules of the game, even after they were provided to him multiple times and explained. It seemed like he wasn't even really reading them, and I do have a problem with that. Ignorance is one thing; willful ignorance is another. Generally he seems to be doing fine, and learning well compared to what he was like earlier; incidents like the above, however, still recur, and ought to be avoided.

Yes, I agree. However, I really don't want to look up whatever the hell g strings or thorgs or whatever sheep was talking about every time sheep talks about them.

No, it wasn't willful ignorance. I just refused to believe that something so simple could be so complex. Usually, there's a catch, but there wasn't one in this case.

In sp1023's defense/support/whateverbutihavetowriteit, I will just note that my own sarcasm/joke detector is quite screwed up, as I am terribly naive.

Now when we're talking about sp1023, I will just note that the below post is true (no sarcasm) and that I really get annoyed when hearing about such kind of parents. Also, I would like to add that the remaining part of the post was making me giggle as well because I couldn't help imagining sp's parents sitting on their balcony, looking at sp at Tae Kwon Do carefully.

Sheep's NES is shaping up nicely and is only 3 updates in.

NK's N3S III is as expected a great game.
