Doesn't you NES update by season? If so, oh boy this will take a while.

I'm hoping to see one of the more detailed NESes make it to modern times, although the current rate at which updates are posted means it would take an aweful while unless BTs are involved.

Im not keen on the small tribe thing so much. I like nation building on a bigger scale. even if it is a small nation.

I always did pre-update stats first, which if you don't already do I highly suggest.

I tend to see which orders do not effect others, do them, then identify the groups and tackle them. Doing everything as I go along.

The best way to approach it is to do all the production/stat changes that would come up before actions (wars, i.e) affect them. So you have that turns finalized stats to reduce or add to.
