edit: crap i forgot to add a poll if its possible could a mod please add a poll with the 3 candidates on it pretty please

McCain easily, then Clinton. I do not want Obama answering a 3AM phone call.
Being genuine and caring doesn't really help nearly as much as experience in an emergency situation.

It's bad enough is someone's calling my house at 3 AM; I don't want anyone talking to them in the other room; I'm trying to sleep.

Christ, have some respect. :coffee:

On behalf of the non-American crowd: is the mention of a 3AM call actually related to some specific event? I ask just to follow the debate (much an American thing, I know) more comfortably.

Oh, no, it has no meaning. Hi! Welcome to American politics! :yeah:

Obama. I definitely don't want someone who'll bomb, bomb, bomb Iran, or someone who's had thiry-five years of experience yet was outwitted by George W. Bush into supporting a pointless war.

Of course, we all know that Hillary hated supporting Iraq, but with all her experience she still didn't figure out that the war would be such a quagmire that it'd be incredibly unpopular in New York by the 2006 elections.

You can tout this all you want. But Obama wasn't even in the Senate when this vote was taken. Both democrats and republicans heavily voted in support of the war. If Obama had been in the Senate, he would have probably vote for it with the rest of the dems or voted "present" like he has on a lot of other issues.

Its easy to critisize other people who you didn't take an stance on an issue. Hindsight is 20/20.

If my party overwhelmingly supports it, its easy to see why she'd vote with the majority of her party. Most of America thought the war was a good idea when it first started. You don't want to be one of the few dissenters.
I think Obama would have voted the same thing if he was even in the Senate at that time.

The war was poorly executed, I believe it could have been a lot better if execution was better.

I think it matters less who answers the 3AM phone call and more what they would do about it. Hopefully whoever was President would speak with their military and national security advisors before taking any serious action...

I've been looking for the video from the Bill Maher show, but can't find it, but in Hillary's book, her "biggest crisis" was the Lewinsky affair and how did she react?

"I could hardly breathe. Gulping for air, I started crying and yelling at him, 'What do you mean? What are you saying? Why did you lie to me?"

Yep, that's who I want "answering the red phone at 3AM".

Most defenately Obama!

Anyone who has a reasonable chance to win the election but Hillary.
