In accordance with my possible reputation as CfC's Mega-Spammer, my title has been changed to 'Kami-sama of SPAM,' or 'God of SPAM' for those who can't manage semi-Japanese.
This will stay like this until someone overtakes me in the poll.

I might make this monthly and I'll use this one to increase awareness for the poll, and then start taking suggestions!

Not much choice here. Of the seven nominated, 5 are newbies who would like to think of themselves as big spammers for whatever twisted reasons they have. There is no mention of the oldtimer spammers, except AoA for some reason, or even some of the obvious intermediate spammers (think ****), so one cannot bring oneself to vote when there is not a cross section of the true spamsters.
In addition, what is so good, or fun about spamming? IMO, it ain't very nice, as it lowers the tone of the board, in whatever forum or thread, towards the spam ridden standards of various other boards. One just has an inkling that there is going to be an anti-spam crackdown now if it is spotted outside of its peanutted home.

For heavens sake, how can you aspire to real spam without a chorus of burly Vikings in a breakfast room?!?

This is because I am not generally a spammer. However, I am fed up being called a spammer by people who think ALL short posts are spam when all I am doing is shortening a paragraph into a sentence because long posts bore people. However, it seems by popular demand, it seems people want me to be a spammer, so a spammer they'll get!

Any post that irritates someone is considered spam by them.
Anyone who reads the Bin Laden thread's last few pages will be in no doubt we were spamming the thread.
As to the kind of posts that irritate me, they are the posts that are so long that instead of being a post, they are a book/thesis/encyclopedia.

Seriously though - if some of you are incapable of acknowledging basic irony then I begin to fear even more for the standard of these forums. At least there is a separate spam forum now (to which I, the Spammerfinder General himself, have already contributed) for those who are so inclined to waste their time upon. But will this reduce the spam traffic in OT and here? I doubt that we will ever fully rid ourselves of the spam monster, but well done to TF for agreeing to this Peanut farm - it should hopefully go a long way to promoting sensible discussion in the OT forum and reduce the amount of childish jokes around the other forums. I mean - which is Civ 3's hottest leader! Laugh - I nearly did.
