Are you sure? I thought it was a disagreement between spouses (the guy seems to be sitting on an anvil, thought he was Hephaistos).Thats not Aphrodite, thats Athena.

I'm pretty sure that's Athena as well. It looks like the painting is depicting the story about how Hephaestus tried to rape Athena(it depends on the source if he succeeded or not).

The goddess in that picture is blonde. I know that Aphrodite was blonde, and that Athena was dark haired (and grey-blue eyed), but I don't know what Hera is supposed to look like.

Well Aphrodite kinda wins by definition. But Athena is cool, and Hera is EVIL. I would vote for Athena if the poll would have been worded differently. That is, less emphasis on bodily assets and more on overall "female" effectiveness.
