Nationalism is the bane of humanity... why exactly do people feel some impassioned to argue that their chunk of rock is so superior to someone else's chunk of rock?

Well America obviously has the best chunk.. we also are the closest to a domination win.. rah rah rah go America.

We also have the coolest sayings, 'lets just kill um all and let god sort um out'

we are also allowed to break the law and not get in trouble.. I mean last time i heard the CIA was bringing drugs INTO the U.S.. gotta love this country man.

A good chunk of America is Dessert, 40% is plains, 10% Mountain Range (Peaks), and only the east coast and northwest has any significant grassland. They are only holding up their score because of their tech lead... Score = Land + Tech + Population + (Whatever I missed)

no trees = no air.. = dead people.. so i think it's better if we just keep suppressing them.

Amazon forest almost doesn't generate oxygen to the outside world, because it is so old that it consume most of its own oxygen.
Most of the oxygen in the world comes form those little organisms(I forgot the exactly spelling, planktons? I guess not) in the coastal areas of the ocean.
But of course, chopping down all the forest would have some not-so-pretty consequences.

But yes, Brazil(and South America in general) have pretty good natural lands.

I voted for Poland of course.
Note the key word : in CFC.
Every nation is nationalist to an extent (and I'm surprised France isn't on the list, as we are often accused of being nationalists), but never have I seen it brought to such an extreme here by the Poles.
Outside of the game, it is also surprising to see them think they should be masters of Europe based on somewhat obscure and bizzare grounds.
I am tempted, as in lots of situations, to let them rant all they want if it pleases them... But honestly, it has become so annoying to see so many threads hijacked with a Poland discussion, that I retreated in the Forum games section.
(There is fun to be had here, come and join).

Anyway, hope this will not start something bad, but this is just my opinion : I'm fed up with the 'Poland should be in' thingy and same goes for every AH/HRE/Bush is bad/French military defeats/whatever thread.

No country is very close to a Civ domination win anyway, so it doesn't really matter
