Why do you support candidate X?

I will vote for Obama mainly because I agree with most of his policies and we have a two party system. I think Mitt Romney would be the worst possible choice for President at this time in history and would likely be remembered as one of the last bad Presidents of the USA just before it collapsed.

I'm voting for Elizabeth Warren because her values in terms of corporate versus individual conflicts are very much in tune with my own. Also, it would be nice to have more Native Americans in the Senate:mischief:

This is not to say that the incumbent's values don't generally coincide with my own. In fact, I am very pleased that Senator Brown has reached across the aisle as frequently as he has. That said, I feel that I must vote for the Democrat because of the importance of the Senate in selecting judges and the like and I would rather have Democratic control of that institution than Republican control.

If Warren was a more marginal candidate I probably would seriously consider reelecting Brown.

I haven't made up my mind for the president yet. I'm leaning towards Obama, but it is also quite likely that I may vote for Stein. In any case, my senate vote is much more valuable, and meaningful, than my presidential vote. At least this year.

I haven't decided yet other than to know that I will not vote for either Dems or Reps (for any office). I think the two wings of our one party have utterly failed us. I'll vote for a 3rd party candidate or an indepedant but haven't settled on who yet.
