I didn't see this posted here. CPP & CBP are fantastic & wondrous mods, and its hard working creators/developers are getting some much deserved exposure.

It's clear from the comments in that article that many users were unaware of this mod (or that you can even mod civ5). (and they a lot of ppl need to get the expansions when they go on sale!).

I recommend CBP/CPP to all my pals, and recommend all new visitors here to give CPP and/or CBP a go - it really enhances the Civ5 experience.

The article didn't call out whoward69, ilteroi & mwhiter, but I'd like to mention that their contributions to this (and other) mods are greatly appreciated.

Awesome article!

I kind of wish the author had given more specific examples of the changes. Giving an example of a civ that was largely regarded as boring and how it was revamped may have gotten a reader more excited in trying it out. Or giving examples of how, say, the new world congress resolutions give it a lot more bite and impact on the game. But nice to see the project get some well deserved press, anyway. I wish I had known about it long ago.

I enjoyed the article, though I would have preferred a mention of the difference between the CP and CBO. Can't have it all, though.

In my defense, I listed all of the people involved in the project for the writer when he contacted me. I think he ran out of words, judging by the typical RPS article length. I'm definitely not trying to claim sole ownership over the mod – I don't want that responsibility (I'd much rather have a stable of people to throw under the bus when things go awry). :)

I've always been a fan of RPS (I even paid to become their "supporters"), but it still saddens me that a lot of comments are complaining about the requirements to have all the leader DLCs and proceed to downplay CPP (without ever trying it) because of that.

I don't get it. What is CBO?

So, official update time.

The CPP will soon be known as Vox Populi.

The CBP will soon be known as the Community Balance Overhaul.

These changes will be part of the next official version of the project.

These were the most acceptable and well-received solutions to the problem, and I think they will do a fine job. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this discussion.

So CBO is the part of the mod about balance.

All the people involved in this project should be awarded this or another way. They cannot be missed out just like that, all their hard work.

I hope Sid Meier will award you somehow at least :)

I mean, Sid and Firaxis have to give some significant attention to the project - which has been making the game I would expect to be from the beginning.

Ok.. And what is the new name for the CP or will it be the same?
