Words of wisdom that make no sense.

There are a lot of words of wisdom, or popular phrases, or proverbs that people quote often. But some are confusing or just doesn't make sense.

One that I can think of off the top of my head is "Love and marriage, it goes together like a horse can carriage.... You can't have one without the other." I can have horse without a carriage. And I can have a carriage without a horse.

Do you notice any words of wisdom that don't make sense to you?

It makes perfect sense. You can marry someone you don't love but you won't go anywhere, just like you can have a carriage without a horse (making it useless).

Now if you want folks to post psuedo words of wisdom from rock lyrics the list could go on forever.

All you need is love.

You can't always get what you want, but if you try, sometimes you can get what you need.

Don't worry, be happy.

Love is rose, but you better not pick it, it only grows on the vine, handful of thorns and you know you missed it...

Always struck me as rubbish advice, I don't want to do my laundry today incase the world ends/ someone buys me a whole new wardrobe/ etc tomorrow.
