World in flame: WW1 units pack

... - if imperator makes a collection there must be a complete collection, one cannot take units from different collections, ...
Expecting one person to make everything is both unfair & unrealistic. This is one reason that over and over again in many different threads units are compared to both the paperdoll & Firaxis' units. A common standard applied as each maker sees fit.

Most creators here are willing to accommodate people as much as they can. Both in terms of details and in terms of requests. It's my observation that the people who most often get such requests answered are other creators. And that includes people who do things like maintain archives. People who demand without offering anything in exchange tend to be pretty low on the list.

C&C at CFC is not a store that customizes on demand. This is a cooperative & interdependent community. Anyone who wants to join our community is welcome. A lot of us started by asking questions and studying tutorials so that we could learn to create. Then posting our wips & finished creations so that by their critiques we could learn from master craftsmen such as imperator1961.

Just noticed a couple of minor things - the pediaicons for the Italian Infantry Early are missing and I'm not sure about the Greek Infantry Early - the Icons say they're for the later infantry. Great units by the way ...

I must ask this....

Since Imperator doesn´t have any sounds and especially his great cavalry units have two flc-files. One for fire the rifle, the next to slash the sword.

Well not only in this great collection but also in previous versions of 19th C cavalry the same issue.

So gents. How do one setup this the best way. Using the standard cavalry sound doesn´t include any sword slashing, but only rifle fire.

Ayone that could complete this, so that sound and action goes hand in hand ??

If Ares doesn´t have new great sound stuff, perhaps some similar units in the past have this combo of rifle/sword attack.

Thankful for any help.

Yeah, it's a known problem. I've added the cavalry myself, but there are no fitting sounds. So far. If you guys are ok with a more generic set, I might be able to do something about it.

Thats sound worked very nice. Thanks

Just noticed an issue with the Belgian Trench Mortar the pediaicons are missing. Any chance of having them uploaded?

I'm very busy at this moment but I'll try to upload it as soon as possible.;)

Some news from my work: I'working on a new WW2 pack but only with tanks and artillery; The Germans (Prussia, Austria, Saxony, Bavaria) from High Medieval To Late 19th C, the Russians from High Medieval To Late 19th C, The Swedish from High Medieval to Late 19th C; the definitive Roman unit pack with a lot roman units from Romulus and Remus to the last days of Rome.

imperator, please do not dismount the cavalry archers when they attack, or please make an extra attack for this....i like them shooting from horse back.....also give the shields on their back 'cause all units were multifuncyional units, and archer and crossbowman make no exception.....

Hi Jerry, there are horse archers and horse archers... so in many armies and Civs the archers uses their horses only to move fast but combat on foot, instead in other armies and other Civs they are really HORSE archers, and I would re-create this difference creating different attack animations.
