Thank you Ottoman4u. Well the problem was with the ideologies.
I believe the error will occur again in the winter war scenario.
I'll announce the publish of v0.2 of the mod.With the v0.2 everything will be fixed.

Well I got the mod to start, but it was asking what kind of terrain I wanted. When i just loaded whatever, and selected Japan as my civ I was put at 4000BC! Um. . . .the map wasn't this world at all it was archipeligo. So, my question is how do I start at 1939? And how do I load an asian or world map?

ok I got the winter war to load. After about 5 turns one of my cities had this flach of light and my computor gave an error log of having to turn my settings down. . . The winter moid looked fun though.


I guess I founded Judiaism and thats the error log. I play as Finland.

I get that to when i found fashism I get some directx 9c error and Cic crash down

Well I hada another crash. It was inj the same manner as the other one, only this time instead of judaism it was capitalism that crashed the program.

1) The Axis nations have to be on the same team. The Allied nations have to be on the same team. The only problem I see that you'll have trouble trying to work around is getting the USSR on the allied side... but have them neutral at the beginning of the war... trigger? make it blazingly easy for them to forge a permanent alliance? I dunno... I don't do much coding... if you manage to work that one out you're a god... because no one else has an answer for that...

2) The 2 sides have to be in a locked war!

3) Really just a question... but it's a problem in many other scenarios I've seen... What's the map going to look like? I noticed Japan and both Chinas are on the list of countries... which usually implies a world-map... but those are the only non european countries there...

Strongly disagree with some of that points.
The nice thing about civ-scenarios is that things might go another way than they originally did.
So when you trigger the USSR to enter war in '41 or make it impossible to sign a peace treaty between specific states, things become pretty ... you know what I mean?

OK.I fixed the problem with the ideologies. I have added 2 sounds for fascism and 2 sounds for communism.The first sound will be in the founding and the
2nd will be in the spread of an ideology.
All these will be published in the v0.3

I haven't tried the mod, but I'll download it... I just love historical mods!! I have one suggestion for a possible scenario: why don't you try two-maps-in-one, separated for a barrier of mountains? I know, it's pretty unrealistic, but this way you'll have the Asian and the european front in just one map.

Anyway, I'm definitevely give it a try. The ideology-religion was something that popped out in my mind some time ago. It's definitevely a really good idea, and maybe I'll take it for a mod about "The Era of Ideologies: 1789-2000" (It's a long-term project, though. I've got some other ideas to work out first).

Thank you.Right now I'm working the INVASION OF POLAND scenario.
When I will finish it I'll create a scenario of Europe during 1939-1941
starting with the invasion of poland and finishing in the beggining of operation barbarosa(invasion of USSR).

I think you may make it by chronology, I think there may be even some pre-WWII operations (Ethiopia, Albania, Spanish civil war)
However best may be Blitzkrieg, Barbarossa, Invasion to Scandinavia, Invasion to Poland, Winter War, Balkan, Northern Africa...wow! )
