Well fairly self explanatory, what in everyone's opinion is the worst beer?

Perhaps give your top three

For me
1. Fosters- fairly self explanatory really, closely followed by
2. Carling- only reason this isn't first is that i've been to the carling weekend a few times now and had to suffer it so much i got a taste for it.
3. Bud- its just vile- what do i care what date my beer was brewed on? And just why can i never get a pint of it? it's always in some crappy bottle!

Anyways, discuss- argue with mine whatever :)

discounting those beers which are a supermarkets own/really cheap beers, i was more meaning brand beers- similar to the ones i listed:)

Also if you don't drink and thats all your gonna add- im sure no-one cares!

1.Samuel Adams Triple Bock. I don't even know if it's still made, but I tried one several years ago and couldn't even swallow one sip. I don't know if it had soured or was supposed to taste like that.
2.Coors Light. I just can't stand it.

Red Dog, Bush, Natty Bo, Old English, Crazy horse. Those being the worse since I think all beer is foul.

American beers. It tastes like water.

How can a man live with bad watery beer and coffee? Once I bought a case of cjeck (check?) beer, it was watery as crap too, the label was green and had some castle on it, don't remember the name.

It was almost as bad as budweiser. Ohyeah and those high alcohol beers suck too. If I wanna drink moonshine tasting crap Ill drink moonshine instead.

There are FAR worse beers on the market than those. Things like 'Steel Reserve' which the alcholics buy from the 7/11 not for taste, but just for cheap alcohol content. They are the 'Thunderbird' of beer.

1. Schlitz - it doesn't matter what's in the can, it's just got too much of a reputation as a beer you drink when you can't afford anything else.
2. Any of those horrible dark beers. If I wanted to drink something that looked/tasted that nasty, I could save a few dollars and stick a straw in a mud puddle.

Dark Velkopopovicky is utterly disgusting, way too sweet. It reminds me of vomit (it's almost only beer that i refuse drink even for free).

There are many good beers coming from US -- Sierra Nevada Bigfoot is one of my favorites (though it's deadly on next day).

I don't like Heineken and Bud.

The worst beer is no beer. The best beer is free beer. Dark beer that is sweet is for women (girls in EU). Why don't people put little umbrellas in sweet beers?

My top 3 'i volunteer to be the designated driver' beers:
1. Adelkronen Export. Even though we had already braced ourselves (it was well into the evening), it tasted incredibly vile. Never again.
2. Astra. Advertises all over the city. Should've spend the money on improving the taste instead. It enjoys a bit of a cult following, for some bizarre reason.
3. Holsten. Just like Astra, just without the cult status.

Sorry i should have made the OP more clear, i meant discounting those beers which are a supermarkets own/really cheap beers, i was more meaning brand beers- similar to the ones i listed:)

*cider and wine drinker*

But I have a particular loathing of:

Fosters - oh my, not only do I think it is lacking in flavour, but I feel its actually anti-flavour, like water in a glass that wasn't washed properly... -.-

Carling - same as above, but less unpleasant.

...I really won't drink more than a pint or a bottle of beer... its just so unpleasant...

I've heard from about half a dozen people that Point Boch is beyond terrible. It's so-so to drink, but the next day, you'll get the runs big time. Each of them has said "I swear they scrape that crap off the bottom of the barrel".

Well, I will drink a bud light every now and then if I am on my way home and too tired to drive anywhere but the 7/11 to buy a beer. Personally, I put it immediately in the freezer and get it to almost ice and then it tastes ok to me. Same with MGD, or Michelob.

But again, there are plenty of 'brand' beers that are far worse. Old Milwaukee, Pabst, Schlitz, Coors, a lot of the Miller knockoffs, are all worse in my opinion.

I currently prefer Pyramid Hefe or a Corona if I am in the mood. Or maybe a Henrys Pale Ale or a few of the various Samual Adams brews.

Natural Light, Jacob's Best, American, Koch's Golden Anniversary, Old German, National Bohemian, Schlitz, Homestyle (sorry Chicagoland), Iron City, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Genny both Cream Ale and regular, and Milwaulkee's Best.

All of which I have drunk in the past at college parties and will likely drink in the future at tailgates.
