Humans invent tools. No tool that I can think of is inherently bad or evil.

It all depends on the way it is used. Same with ideologies, religion, etc.

My self, I think the Atom bomb was the worst thing we ever came up with.

With all respect, I'll never be able to agree with that. My grandfather was set to be in the first wave to invade Japan in WWII, and it was predicted that just about every single person in that wave would have died. If it hadn't been for those bombs I'd never been born. If you think about it, I owe my life to that bomb, as do many other people.

Religion, but it probably would've developed in another form even if we killed all the holy men and such.

I also abhor what girls would call 'high fashion'. Its expensive as hell and is the best money waster I have seen yet. This is probably why some households are in poverty right now.

The American public school system is also a horrible invented system, Europe is much better. (If you can call it an invention)

I remember that! I wanted one sooo badly! Thankfully, I never actually wound up getting one.

Worse, however, would be pessaries. Painful contraceptive devices for women which neither prevented pregnancy all that well, and often led to terrible infections to boot.
