I should have a pic up in a few days! The graphics are pretty good, but I am having trouble with animating it. How is yours coming along sam?

Allright, I have the graphic for this done but it is some kind of weird file, let me go find the name. A cad. Huh? I am not sure how to upload to show. And it won't let me convert it to to a jpg...

Just take a picture of it with the Snipping Tool. Search for it in the Start Menu
 
Since we're not doing Reach. I'm working on a planet (its name is Antioch) which has 2 continents divided by an island chain. The planet also has supposed man-made islands that provide a lot of the agriculture it trades off to other planets (it is the main economic source). In the southern continent (Minerva) there are naturally found iron and uranium deposits so a few settlements lay on the coast. The main city is Nueva San Christobal. I'm also supposing that cities can't create units, but rather there are about 5 forts scattered across the planet that count as military production areas (which I haven't named yet). The Covenant will start with the invasion of southern Minerva (where the ore is) and work their way up to the coast then to the northern continent (Jupiter). I'm going to need someone to code all of this so SamSniped if you want to do it feel more than free too. I'm going to make a rough sketch of the atlas then build it in world builder.
 
Yea, my snipping tool keeps on not responding when I take a "Snip". I will try a couple of other tricks. The map sounds good! How big is it since five forts might not be enough depending on how big it is. Or wait, are we making it able to to have new forts built?

No new cities or forts can be built. I want the map the be at least huge if not a little but bigger. The reason I want 5 forts is because unit production will be quick as there will be a lot of Covenant opposition and title movement is very very large for air units(that transport ground units as well).

Grr! Well, when you animate it you won't have much trouble modeling and animating other units am I right?
 
Yea, though I still can't get it to fight, it just freezes...

Here's my idea for the strength of the units.

USNC-
Marines:20 STR, 1 MVM, no abilities.
ODST: 24 STR, 2 MVM, can parachute jump (to code this one will be extremely simple-pretty much a copy of the paratrooper unit)
Spartan IIs:28 STR, 2 MVM,
Spartan IIIs:26 STR, 2 MVM, invisible to most units, (+50% STR when STR >1/2?)
Scorpion:30 STR, 1 MVM, can bombard enemy fortifications -16%/turn
Warthog:26 STR, 2 MVM, can carry 1 unit
Gauss Warthog:28 STR, 2 MVM, can carry 1 unit, +25% STR vs Covenant troops
Rocket Warthog:28 STR, 2 MVM, can carry 1 unit, +25% STR vs Covenant vehicles

Covenant-
Grunt:20STR,1 MVM, no abilities(or maybe suicide?)
Jackal:24 STR, 1 MVM, (ability-maybe some sort of one-time 50% defense strength boost called partable shields?)
Brute:26 STR,1 MVM, +25% vs SPARTAN IIs and IIIs
Elite:28 STR, 1 MVM
Dropship:30 STR,4 MVM, can only defend, carries 4 units(pretty much a go-anywhere transport)
Banshee:26 STR, 2 MVM, +25% STR vs USNC troops
Wraith:28 STR, 1 MVM, can bombard enemy fortifications -16%/turn
Reverant:26 STR, 2 MVM, +25 STR vs USNC vehicles
Ghost:26 STR, 2 MVM, can carry 1 unit

Mind you, these are just concept ideas.

Great stats! Much better than mine;P but if we're gonna make a civpedia for each use descriptions on page 1. The dropship for the UNSC is called a Pelican and the dropship for the Covenant is called Phantom. To keep it balanced we're gonna have to have one unit on each side with the relatively same abilities so the player can't win too easily and the AI can't win too easily. I've said it before but go on halo.wikia.com to cite anything if you don't know the jest of Halo that well. :D thank you for getting back on again! I really appreciate it! (also, we're gonna need Hornets and Falcons). I think we could have something like a tech tree where you can access special units as time progresses in the game. This includes things like the Falcons at first (so hornets are default) then things like Spartan IIIs then IIs (you can't build any of them; they should spawn in one of the forts every 20 turns or so).
