EDIT:

IC:

From: Marshall Marcus Redpath and the Magistrates of Southshore and Hillsbrad
To: Our Allies, especially the Alliance Assembly in Theramore, the Kirin Tor in Dalaran, the Committee on the Conduct of the War in Stormwind and King Magni Bronzebeard of Khaz Modan

We write, firstly, in order to reassure you of our commitment to the war against the enemies of the Light, and especially against the Undead Scourge that has ravaged our kingdom. Though most of Lordaeron has fallen into the hands of the unholy and the lawless, the Light is still strong here and we will not rest our sword-arms until we are either dead or victorious.

There is, however, a second purpose to this letter, and it is to ask for aid. For even though the people of the Hillsbrad Foothills are, as we have already written, dedicated to our great common purpose and brave in combat, they are not, even with the influx of the refugees from elsewhere in the kingdom, as numerous as those who fight against us, and often were only driven to arms by despair, having not previously served in the army. Make no mistake: there are experienced fighters amongst us, and those who are not veterans of previous wars have still learned to fight well in this present one, for those who could not fight could not survive here today. Our forces are entirely sufficient for the task of defending the territories currently under our control. But if we are to reconquer Lordaeron - and we believe that this is the goal of the entire Alliance - we will require many more soldiers than this, and professional soldiers would be particularly appreciated.

Therefore we ask the Alliance to send troops to assist us in the battle against the Syndicate and the Undead and any others that may threaten our great common purpose. We have already worked well with the mages of Dalaran; we thank the Kirin Tor for coming to our assistance in this dark hour, but hope that we will not be looked upon as greedy if we ask for more. The king of Stormwind and his advisers are the foremost leaders of humankind - we ask them to help their brothers as we had helped them when their lands too were overran by unholy invaders, and we pray that we could fight alongside them against the unrelenting enemies of the Light that even occupy the heartlands of Lordaeron. And last but not least, we ask King Magni Bronzebeard, a proven friend of humankind and of Lordaeron, whose forces even now stand at guard in the fort of Dun Garok in the Hillsbrad Foothills, to send any assistance he deems wise to help us. The Dwarves are our ancient allies and renowned warriors; with their help, we shall surely prevail and turn back this tide of darkness.

May the Light be with us all.

To: The Horde and the Grand Alliance
From: Darnassus

As we all have come to find a common enemy, we believe it would be very beneficial to our war efforts if we formed a council were our nations leaders may meet and discuss strategic strikes on our enemies.

To Darnassus
From Silvermoon

While we harbor extreme distrust of the Grand Alliance as a whole, the prospect of a join council is an appealing one... so long as all parties maintain equal recognition of course. In any event, we will support this agenda in order to combat against our mutual foes while alleviating the certain tension between our two factions.

To: Silvermoon
From: Darnassus

This is all we ask for, after the scourge is dealt with who knows what will happen if this council is a success.

To: The Grand Alliance and friendly nations
From: Darnassus

Any Alliance/Alliance friendly nations are invited into this council. We urge you to join so that we can all form up and defeat our enemies. We know Kul Tiras and Stormwind's hate toward the foolish orcs. Especially Kul Tiras murdered your great father, but we beg you and the rest of the Alliance to put your hatred aside for the time being. Believe us, we do not like them either if you remember they killed our own Cenarius. Trust us, we will deal with those savages later, but please we need back up in this council we do not wish it to be over populated with Horde and under populated with Alliance.

From Orgrimmar
To Darnassus:
It is you who should remain outside of our logging operations. The Horde has been the vanguard against the scourge, not your Alliance. We will not agree to a non-aggression pact until you apologize for your raids against our lands.

From Tuskarr
To Horde:
The Night Elves of Darnassus have made a very promising proposal of immediately sending military forces to protect us from a Scourge invasion. As such we are heavily leaning on joining the Alliance. Should any of the Horde nations make a better proposal we would like to hear it.

To Hillsbrad
From Ironforge:
Aid will be sent once we have secured The Wetlands from the Dragonmaw. Their unchecked presence could easily cut off supply lines, and we are most weary of possible Dark Iron aggression. Their raids have placed our military posted across the Kingdom should they plan any more devious attacks. This has most assurdly spread our forces more thin than we would like. Still our forces at Dun Garok are at your disposal to command. [6 army, 2 magic]

To Hillsbrad
From Thereamore:
Our two most pressing concerns are the recent murloc invasion and possible attack by the Black Dragonflight which resides just south of our border. Combined with the length of the voyage in which we must send an expedition, we fear we are unable to be of much service.

To Darnassus:
From: Thereamore, Ironforge, Wildhammer
We have interest in being part of this combined Alliance-Horde council.

To Darnassus
From: Exodar, High Elves, Stromgarde, Northrend Expedition
We have no interest in joining any anti-scourge council which includes both Horde and Alliance members.

To Darnassus
From: Argent Dawn
Should there be a formation of a trans Alliance-Horde council to deal with the Scourge, the Argent Dawn would like to be the moderating presence. We currently are neutral and have members from every Alliance and Horde race.

To Darnassus/Alliance members of the Joint Council
From Silvermoon

We would note that while this reception is some what alleviating to our general mistrust, we would ask our dear Night Elf cousins to be more tactful in there wording to avoid raising any unnecessary animosity on an already tense situation, with hints of possible and deliberate conflict later on in the future... this should be take if nothing else as an opportunity to help maintain the peace. In any event, we will support the Argent Dawn as an acting moderator for this Joint Council, at the same time we would like to submit a request to nominate the Cenarion Circle to act as a moderator as well in order to expand the range of our attention against threats outside of the Scourge as well.

To: Darnassus
From: Stormwind

We as well would not support any organization that includes the dastardly Horde, especially the Forsaken scum. All undead are the same, and must be purged, including the Horde's "tame" undead.

To: Southshore
From: Stormwind

We regret that at this time we cannot send but a pittance of forces to aid you. The situation at home requires much effort and struggle to rebuild from the horde's latest attack on Lakeshire. However, we are more than happy to aid those who gave our people shelter when the dastardly orcs razed Stormwind.

From The Forsaken Undead
To Stormwind

It seems the people of Stormwind are becoming as zealous as the Scarlet Crusade. You would do well to watch your words least your tongue slip carelessly. As it has on so many occasions.

To: Forsaken
From: Stormwind

We relish the day the bodies you've stolen rot back in their graves, where they belong.

From Stormwind
To Forsaken

You would rather have the bodies of your loved ones cease to be conscious than have them fight agianst the Scourge?

A warped logic you have. Typical of a human

To: Forsaken
From: Stormwind

You are abominations like all the undead. Your mere existance is against nature and life.

To: Stromgarde, Hillsbrad and Dalaran
From: Kul Tiras

Our Friends,

We must first congratulate the forces of the combined Kul Tiras and Stromgarde forces for reclaiming the capital city. We also thank Hillsbrad and Dalaran for their assault upon the enemy of the light.

However we bear bad news. We fear larger disruptions on the horizon as such Commander Zalaphil and the brunt of his forces must be recalled to the Capital city. We shall luckily keep an amount of troops under Stromgarde control to support the advance (5 Army).

Once order is restored with these problems our troops will be reissued to the north to support our brave friends in you.

To: Darnassus
From: Kul Tiras

We refuse to attend such a convening of leaders with those that killed my father and ruined our fleets in attendance.

To Darnassus
From Thunder Bluff

While we are cautious of a joint Horde-Alliance council, we believe, if moderated correctly and everyone kept on equal and fair standings, with everyone's voices heard, it could work. The problems will arise in the fact that the Alliance will be paranoid that the Horde's ideas on how to get things done will only be to weaken the Alliance in the long run, and the same will go for the Horde believing the Alliance is only out to weaken us. We will send a team of ambassadors to the council, which we stress needs to be in a neutral land, the Cenarion Circle would be a good such place, but be warned, we believe no gains will be made by this council, just a lot of potentially wasted time.

The continued abhorrent racial discrimination against the Undead appalls us greatly.

P.S. hey guys i'm playing scourge of lordaeron not the rest of the scourge if you're not contacting the undead of lordaeron i suggest you pm warman not me

P.P.S. that was so worded so that any secret diplo with undercity will be brought to me okay

To: Ironforge
From: Darnassus

We have yet to hear from you on the matter of a joint council. What will your answer be? We would really appreciate it if you joined this since very few Alliance members have joined...

To: Argent Dawn
From: Darnassus

We would either choose to hold our council there, or in the Cenarion Circle since it is more secluded then in your lands.

To: Silvermoon
From: Darnassus

We meant nothing like that, just if we are all going to decide on one thing the few allies I would have in this council may be over ruled by the decisions of the Horde to hinder our nations.

From The Forsaken Undead
To Darnassus

We retract our willingness to join in this Horde-Alliance Council. With such hostilities from the Humans nothing could possibly be accomplished. We advise all of the horde to follow suit. The Forsaken will not be insulted and then asked to join together in harmony with such company as these humans who only seek destruction of anything that seems different from them.

To Hillsbrad

You would dare march into Lady Slyvanas' lands without just cause. It seems that all virtues of humanity have been lost along with it's insanity! Such belligerent cries for war. We hold the city of Lordaeron, we have built it back from nothingness. We the undead have rescued it from the ravages of the Scourge and you Dare to speak of reclaiming it as yours!. You abandoned it and fled. Cease your agreesion immediately or war will break out between you and the entire Horde.

To The Horde

Be ready for war my friends, for the Kingdom of Hillsbrad seeks to cause it. No doubt they will convince Stormwind to join foolish cause, therefore obligating the rest of the alliance to join them.

ooc:- I'm not sure if you knew das but the Forsaken (not the Scourge) control Lordaeron. So unless you mean to declare war on me and the rest of the Horde, i suggest you change your stance and your words

OOC: Kentharu, opening letters adressed to other people is impolite. (And opening letters not sent through your territory is very impolite ;) ).

Also, there is no such thing as a "Kingdom of Hillsbrad".

Warman, the message to Theramore was supposed to go to the other Alliance leaders; according to WoWWiki there is something called the "Alliance Assembly" there, so I assumed that it would be possible to contact at least the Night Elf representatives by these means.

when you put it out so blatantly and leave it opened, while also covering it in bacon its kinda hard not to resist opening it.
