Writing in Gunpowder

Hm, there is the damaged Barbarian Warrior (Combat 2) that killed my second Scout right next to my Archer (Drill 1). I could kill him with decent odds, but he is on a forested hill, so do I let him go and leave my fallen men unavenged or do I attack an easily defended position?

I do, but I thought I'd hold on to it for a while to finally get to work on my next chapter.

Okay I'm sorry but Nighthawk also said that he is behind with his own writing so I figured its not the end of the world when the turns come slower for a while.

Okay, sorry. Hawk lord could you please resend the turn?

I´ve got both plenty of time and stuff to write about, but I don´t feel inspired. :/ A shame really, considering that the era of me lounging around at home without doing anything productive for society is coming to an end and a new era of me lounging around in a university without doing anything productive for society is about to start.

I told Eclipse this, but honestly right now I dont have the time nor the energy nor the motivation to write anything for this game like we originally intended. I still want to keep playing it and move forward, but my writing will be limited to diplomacy and updates for everyone on here that are short.

I think my problem is civ overload - I had given up a bunch of games, but I still have too many and with so many games running through my head I am constantly thinking game mechanics and big picture strategy to win and not enough just enjoying the role playing element. I might get back to writing and make the story pick up in a later age (thats the benefit of a time traveller!) but for now my story is not going to be updated unless I get motivated.

That being said, I still plan on following the intent of this game as it was set up, so diplomacy will be conducted as normal, and I will be communicating and playing "in character" the entire time, even if my story writing doesn't keep up. I am fine with moving any speed we want. I honestly can't wait to have a few games run off and be down to less than 5 games, that seems to be a nice number for me.

anyway - back to the game - Citizens of Madrid, tiring of Queen Isabella's religious Islamic rule, continue to march east looking to start a new city of their own. They still wish for the protection of the crown but to manage their own affairs... much like the other Spanish cities.

onwards!

Is it too late to restart this game with Legends of Revolution?
