The Barcelonian lookouts do not give chase to the Portugeuse scout, however their cowardice and words continue the stereotype of Portugeuse people among the Spanish. Clearly the border between Barcelona and Portugal will be a tension spot between the two civilizations.

In 700BC, the Spanish priests in Madrid finally come to the realization that their knowledge of Allah learned from the man from the future is truly the one and only God. In response the crown declares that Islam shall be considered the one and only True Religion in Spain, further alienating the people of Cordoba, who have recently taken up Judaism as learned from the Greeks. Their allegiance to the crown of Isabella can be considered tenuous at best.
