Yes to all of the above. I 'm going to re dl this thing, and see if that helps.

psweetman1590,

I hope it will work.

BTW: Have you installed the biq-file also?

(That is the small file.)

Rochotech in the game most of the ships aren't flagged as rotate before attack such as the destroyer and many other ships.

Drivebymaster,

Despite countless hours of bug-hunting there are still bugs...

Thank you for the info Drivebymaster. At least it can ce corrected with
a new biq-file.

Notes have been taken.

I tried it out a little yesterday, playing as the Germans... I wanted to know how many turns there were, so i looked it up... OH MY GOD! 600 turns! I have only played the first turn, and that took over 4 hours! I wonder if i'll ever finish playing this scenario... ;)

P.S.Y.C.H.O.,

Yes, however with the house rules it will end much earlier.

ComradeDavo,

Thank you. I am really glad to hear that you liked the scenario.

Yes, I will upload a saved game for Japan (at Emperor level) later today.

I hope you will post more comments in the future.

Thanks, I will download that saved game now :) Have tommorow off work so will play all day!

Not exactly sure, but somewhere between 1 and 2 hours.I loaded the scenario while leaving my flat for about 2 hours. When came back it was loaded.Since my CPU (1,8 and 512) is abit slower than the recommended for playing, I think it has took a bit longer than an hour.
Cool, thanks for the info.

ComradeDavo,

Yes, Japan should be a very interesting CIV to play.

Probably its also very difficult.

Well, after re downloading this mammoth again (FIVE FR**** HOURS!!) I have one thing to say: DAMN! And not in a good way. Now, instead of trying to get on with one of the save you provided, I just load the scenario itself. I choose my civ and all, and spend fifteen minutes or so, staring at the loading bar that says "Configuring Scenario." Then I am shunted back to desktop, no sign of the game, no explanation given. NOW what did I do wrong? Maybe if I re downloaded the saves you provided, and entered through them? Its worth a shot.

And yes, I did install the biq file. Looked at the game in the editor and it looks great! I'm very impressed.

:hmm: It worked fine when I downloaded it.....Maybe it's just your computer?

Yes, I am starting to suspect such. I highly doubt my computer can't run it (my comp is new), so I'm wondering if something is just placed somewhere where it just ain't supposed to be. I'll have to do a thorough haul through that section of my C drive tonight.

Edit: Just to be sure, could someone tell me just where everything should be located? Should the big one be in scenarios or civ-content, for example? I am being really put off be my computers refusal to cooperate with me. Thakns in advance! :)

Post Edit: I re downloaded the saved games, and they still don't work, same reason (missing animation). Now I am certain something has been misplaced.

I don't know if anyones said this yet. But here we go.

The unit u're using for the DD's needs the Rotate before att. highlighted.

And i'm having fun with this 1.

Did you mean to make Japan unable to build ANY tanks from the beginning?

Yes, its meant to reflect the severe shortage on strategic
resources Japan had before Dutch East India was occupied.

However maybe some units more should be possible to produce
without resources, should there be a version 1.1 of WW2-Global.

psweetman1590,

I will try to describe step by step how to install:

1. Choose the "huge" download, 94.4 MB.

2. Right click on it.

3. Choose Explore.

4. Now you will see the WW2-Global folder. Choose copy.

5. Locate the Scenarios-folder in Conquests. Choose it and then
choose paste. It will take some time since it is 94.4 MB.

6. Repeat the above procedure with the biq-file (the small download).

7.Choose the saved-games download. Choose extract files.
Choose browse. Locate the Saves folder that belong to Conquests.
Extract the saved-games into that folder.

Edit: If you can confirm that the above worked, I will put it
on the front-page of this thread.

recon1591,

Yes, notes have been taken on that, but thank you anyway.

I am glad to hear that you liked the scenario.

Edit: Saved games at Emperor-level now available for 6 out of 8
playable Civs. See post 9 and 10.

Thank you for the instructions, Rocoteh. I have moved the saves and was going to move the giant one, but when I chose explore, I was told the file was invalid or corrupt. AHA! there's the problem!

Well, looks like I'm looking at another download. If I'm lucky the rents will let me do it overnight this time. *fingers crossed*
