What is your single favorite movie of all time?

As with any internet forum, I expect a high frequency of Monty Python movies, but I wonder what some other opinions are!

As of right now (since these types of things change for most people occasionally) my answer is Fight Club.

I'm in fact totally unaware of what a "monty python" movie is? Something to do with a snake or something? ;) Somebody enlighten me.

My favorite movie of all time would have to be the final LotR movie, return of the king, that was IMHO the single greatest movie of all time, it was beautiful :goodjob:

A Beautiful Mind. Excellent movie about schizophrenia

American Beauty, runner up would be Donnie Darko.

I know this is pathetic, what can you do.
I must have been the right age when it came out or something.

Dead poets society.

STAR WARS. Well actually the the trilogy as a whole (episode 1 and 2 don't exist, episode 1 and 2 don't ex....)

reservoir dogs

"torture you? i like that"

for a long while it was full metal jacket

"WHATS YOUR MAJOR MALFUNCTION NUMBNUTS?" hehe

Would be easier to take one from each genre but...

The Exorcist - director's cut

Rent the "Life of Brian" DVD. It would be right up your street. ;)

My favourite movie is Apocalypse Now (Redux)

What's pathetic about that? It's a good movie.

I suppose my favourite has to be Fight Club, however.

Its a Mad Mad Mad Mad World.

It seems we have this thread every year. Why can't anyone ever ask whats your favorite book or whats your favorite TV show?

Hmm....probably Star Trek II:The Wrath Of Khan.

Shawshank is up there, tho.

Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects, What Dreams May Come, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind....they're up there too.
