Your Favourite Dinosaur?

Come on, admit it, everyone has, or at least had, a favourite dinosaur.

Mine, and I imagine many others will agree, was Tyrannosaurus-Rex. I did have a short fling with Velociraptors until I realised Spielburg had lied to me again and they were more 'giant turkey' than 'intelligent hunters'.

So what was it and why? OH, and pictures would be great for those without the knowledge to know exactly which dinosaur you're talking about and the time to research

I've not listed the dinosaurs because I know how people love to how off their knowledge on here and no matter how many dinosaurs I list there will be some smart arse saying "you missed my favourite, the Heptasteornis"

The flying reptiles (pterosaurs) were not dinosaurs, although they were archosaurs.

The reptiles of the oceans were not dinosaurs either, I think they were closer to lizards.

The Top 5 Thread was deleted, for some crazy reason.

And birds are dinosaurs. Hence one of my votes goes to that one whose name I forget, but it ate prehistoric horses.

For me, no contest: I chose this as my favourite as a child for forgotten reasons and have stuck with it for sentimental reasons. Probably because I'd like to ride one.

That's the african version of the T-rex, yes? the more badass one?

Yeah, I like that one too. Kinda wish I was one.

EDIT: I forgot, I also like the megalodon alot, I even have a few pictures of it on my HD. Its like a bigger version of the great white shark, although I dont think it's technically a dino.

Allosaurus belongs to a different family(carnosaurus) than tyrannosaurus(coelurosaurus), smaller, exist in an earlier period (jurassic). My favourite dinosaur is the cryolophosaurus, a kind of allosaurus of the Antartica.
