Erm, US is #2 in manufacturing, not exactly "annihilated"

The Republican states lower tier manufacturing has been "annihilated"
Blue states Hi-tech manufacturing has been booming

Why the hell would the US want low tier manufacturing anyways ? China dosnt even want Low tier manufacturing it wants Hi-Tech manufacturing that the US has.
