I was responding to the point about having two versions of the tag. Now we only have one.
Why? The old one was useful, too.

It's good for posting music and other audio files in which the imagery doesn't matter much, such as interviews/news items, radio recordings, etc.

With thanks to alanh, we have a new version of the youtube tag, that allows you to set the size. Like people shouldn't set images too big, don't do that for videos either.

May the valkyries take you to Valhalla should you ever fall in battle. :viking:

Unfortunately we have two problems now.
One: sometimes I get the 'player is too small' error message.
Two: if we click on the link it opens on the same tab (it used to always open in a new one)

nitpick: the L in 'link to video' used to be in uppercase

Is this harder to fix than it seems? because although I woke up without a sig (and no one saying anything to me about it) you can still use youtube clips in your sig.

But they won't be displayed, it seems.

Is it possible though to enforce the issue by disabling the use of youtube tags in signatures though? That I think was the question, we all agree that it shouldn't be allowed.
