Like you even had a remote chance of getting to my core territories to revive the GUAA in any decent form.:p
 
1943:
March to the Front

South-East Asia is in stalemate. But war breaks out in the Middle East, and the biggest tank battle of all time is fought in Karelia. Air power begins to show what it can do. Meanwhile the Iron-Technocrat alliance flawless campaign in South America and builds a fleet capable of dominating the Atlantic.

The Second Battle of Brazilia
Spoiler :
The Iron Fascists and Technocrats fight as allies against Brazilia.
Round #1:
Iron Fascist fighter destroys Brazilian infantry, it takes return fire in the process but evades to safety.
Brazilian militia becomes disorientated and is destroyed by Technocrat tank.
Three Iron Fascist infantry have nothing to do.
Brazilia is captured by the Iron Fascist Union of the Greater South, with agreement from its ally.


The Second Battle of Santiago

The Iron Fascists and Technocrats fight as allies against Brazilia.
The Iron Fascists and Technocrats both use a two-pronged attack (+1 strength).

Technocrat stormtrooper is unhurt by Gran Colombian fighter attack.

The EPIC Fifth Battle of Karelia

USSB tanks follow Duckistan forces through Finnkola and into Karelia.
Khilāfat Qurṭuba and Duckistan fight as allies against the Union of Soviet Socialist Belki.
Khilāfat Qurṭuba and Duckistan both use a two-pronged attack (+1 strength).

Shogunate has control of the sea for now, troop landings in Dai Viet are able to go ahead.

I listened to Göteborgsmusiken while updating this.

  • Bombed factories now produce $1 a turn. Bombed cities would still produce nothing. Bombed territories now have a %50 chance to recover at the start of each turn.
  • Currently, the mutli-prong bonus doesn't apply for defence (units moving into a friendly territory under attack). I'm thinking maybe it should.
  • I've stuck with the same rules for capitols, although I guess there should be some revisions in future.
  • I assure you that I NPC'ed Duckistan's movements irrespective of orders, which I had yet to read properly...
 
Daft, I hate to have to do this, but I don't think I can really keep playing as Duckistan. It's taking up more time than I really had planned, and I can't really give it the attention it deserves. I'm hoping someone else can take better care of it than I can give it.

Woohoo! Update!

I think that a civil war in Duckistan will be good- it'll probably help to keep the world from stagnating into 2 monolithic superalliances. However, as a potential rival of Duckistan, I'm probably biased.

As Duckistan's pre-eminent ally, I must speak strongly against this as it puts the plans of her allies, who basically counted on her as a stable neighbor, in flux, and leaves them weak in face of other alliance blocs. However, if it must happen:

Daft, how did you want to break Duckistan up (if you're still doing the civil war)? Either way, Matt had first dibs, and I'm fine with whatever.

So after thinking about it, I think a civil war would be unfair on several people, and not fair on Supermath either.

@Matt0088, do you still want to play Duckistan? Perhaps you could let Bil form a seperate (allied) state out of Karelia, Astrakhan, and Sibir, possibly other territories, so you have less to deal with?

@Terrish, Madagascar has no income, its not really playable. You can play as NZ if you want, since you staked the first claim.

@LittleBoots, would you like to be a priority replacement player if anyone else drops out? Sorry thats all I can offer :(

@Darth, with the current rules, you will keep losing income every time Karelia is recaptured and lost again. You could wait and hope you get a new capitol in Njordiviken (I roll a dice for this each turn, 5 or 6 will do).
 
Maybe me and Bil can be co-commanders like me and charles were Daft? Nice to know there is no civil war.:)
