- Oh, yeah, Youth Movement in London rush-built so it can again move into war production. Wonder how many German resource shields we wasted with this little surprise. :mwaha:

 I can only say: Z3/E.N.I.A.C. :D

How do you have that tech already? Maybe you're saving the shields for when you get it I guess.

ohwell?

I was just thinking over some important descicions ;)

- First Yak-3 squadron complete, more to follow. The highly advanced planes are more powerful, faster and cheaper than anything the Axis or Allies have.

- Bucharest looks harder to beat than it looks, Soviet forces retreat due to rumors of several Panzer II and militia divisions. We plan to invade later with a larger force.

- Turkish invasion force readied in Gorky, Tblisi and Stalingrad, attacking from the east.

Damn. I purposefully blabbed about the ships because I knew you'd put a U-Boat around there,

I really should keep having a big mouth about convoys and somesuch, it makes others' actions really predictable.

but U-Boats have higher movement range than my ships so I couldn't safely find it. Anyway, I sank it this turn with another ship.

No other news except the completion of Youth Movement, and that brings up a problem:

I can only say: Z3/E.N.I.A.C

That made sense, but when Youth Movement was completed a window said "The Axis have abandoned their great project, Youth Movement" as if you were still building it. What's the deal?

oops, file

Week Thirty Two and Thirty Three of the second World War:

More Yak-3 fighters are coming off the factories, making our nearly unbeatable plane even more numerous.

A tank battalion under (Minor) Axis command destroyed one of our infantry units near Constanza, we head for the hills in our BT-7s, surrounding Bucharest. Our ground-attack planes are closing in on the city, and we expect to see the city under Soviet control within two to four weeks.

Tank battalions heading for east Turkey.

Our cities switch off from full-time war capacity due to heavy drops in the Soviet Economy, and begin work on civil engineering projects, though military production is still strong at the front.

God, sorry I took so long. With all of the ZWK games having gotten a bit slow lately, I subconsciously thought that it wasn't me we were waiting for on this one. Or maybe my e-mail notification didn't get to me while the forum was down, who knows.

Britain extends his blessing to Greece's president, StupidassAI, in his upcoming bout with the Axis.

No news, just further consolidation of Fortress Britain.

BTW, what exactly happened with this problem:

Did you indeed lose the shields, or what?

 That's covered information actually  No, as far as I know, I lost almost no shields, since after I finished Z3/ENIAC I made Berlin produce the Youth Movement again. This is I think a very interesting ZWK game, since everything goes so different than meant to be: cease fire in Russia, you having Youth Movement (being the only civ who needs it), me having great scientists......I'll probably loose though. :p

True, the Axis never really needed help with unhappiness, while I'm sitting here literally seeing red. The ceasefire I think is out of place though. I was glad it happened because it offered the Soviets a chance to regroup, but it really wasn't necessary. Through Kobayashi's events and the sheer distance all the way through Russia slowing you, he probably could have eventually ebbed the tide. He didn't even let the Germans get to where they were in actual history before granting a ceasefire.

You know, I still don't trust you, Hess... ;)

We are suspicious of the Panzergrenadiers near Constanza, though it is fully damaged it's mere presensce could cost ITs soldiers lives... ;)

Sturmoviks operating from Constanza do not launch bombing runs on Bucharest due to intelligence reports of new Anti-Aircraft cannons emplaced there.

Sturmovik wing 6 heads for the mountains of Romania, just outside Ploesti to give Axis soldiers a glimpse of the grand Soviet craftsmanship, as well as greeting them to the newfound alliance between the German and Russian peoples.

Turkish invasion force is heading out of the Caucasus region, and now even beyond Tblisi.

Soviet I-16s still exist! I found some in Dnepropetrovsk

Sturmovik and Wellngton maritime patrols locate and destroy two German wolfpacks in the North Sea. C'mon, man, you think I'm not looking?

Spitfires have located a second wolfpack of Sicily, but they were on the second half of their flight and could not attack with the fuel it had. It will probably be destroyed in the next turn no matter where it goes. Or my blabbing will convince its captains to leave the area and secure a safe supply route to the island.

Of course, some sort of top secret operation as well, somewhere.

And when is your stinkin invasion coming? I'm so bored over here, with my fifteen or so infantry divisions, five tank divisions, innumerable planes, and massive shipment on its way which will double those numbers. C'mon, invade, come on...

Eeh not much this week... we found some new tanks in Asia and sent them west...

Oh! Burgas is emptied and occupational troops are days away from siezing the city. We expect the Italians to grant us a peace treaty.
