- In a fatal blunder, the Independents’ government rejected Allied troops and planes in both Spain and Turkey which were stationed there for their own protection. It seems we will have to fight the Germans at the very shores of Gibraltar and Beirut rather than to more easily assist the Turks and Spaniards. We can only pray that the Russians get as much of Turkey as possible to save the Levant.

- Completion of fortress Britain by a five-turn spending spree allows the Allies to finally get back in gear for scientific research, which to our surprise is already up to one every five turns. After the completion of some anti-corruption measures in the Mideast and the U.S., we should have it up to one every three turns.

- Rosie the Riveter’s motivation of the Allied nations’ women is certainly starting to show its benefits, making Liverpool the most productive city in the war and bringing other Allied cities to their highest production.

- The only news in combat was the sinking of yet another German capital ship, off Stavanger.

Oh, my apologies, I didn't notice any new posts so I figured Darius hadn't played yet. I'll get right on it!

Well the puny Italians broke our cease fire... attacking and killing a BT-7 division near Dnepropetrovsk, but I-16s stationed there finish that sucker off with EASE.

Soviet air force begins offensive maneuvers against Turkey for the first time, beginning the war. One sturmovik is killed while attacking the Turkish flagship, while another destroys it. The Soviet navy bombards Istanbul, and BT-7s empty it, but are in needing of refueling before pressing on to take the city.

New naval forces commisioned in Sevastopol.

Well, with the loss of Kiev, Minsk, Leningrad, and Talinn, I now am recuperating with Constanza, Istanbul, and soon Ankara

Not bad at all. Now all I need is Scientist Internment and some commandos
