I don't think so... I've always gone after the axis and before the soviets, and I haven't seen an axis .net file after the most recent soviet .net file. Willem?

I don't know WTH is wrong with me.....something in my sub-concious keeps nagging me its Darius' turn - my sincere apologies.

thought I posted yesterday :confused: but of course internet suddenly stopped working.......

* Central France conquered
* Approaching the last cities in Poland and the Balkan
* Denmark has fallen
* Heavy airfights in Normandy result in the almost total destruction of Allied Airforces in that area.
* Bombers were shot down everywhere
* just one fighter squadron lost

D'oh!

Ups and downs in all theatres -

- British bombers destroy a wolf-pack and the Royal Navy sinks the massive German battleship Bismarck, both off Stavanger.
- This naval security in the North Sea allows naval bombardment of the low countries, which has just begun
- The final blow has been struck in the deserts south of Tobruk, and now it's empty shell will be taken in the next turn
- The Panzer divisions earmarked for invasion of Normandy have been destroyed
- One turn remains before convoys from America depart, carrying 9 divisions and five tank divisions
- On the negative, the Allies have been unable to counterattack against the Luftwaffe, as nothing was in range. You have the skies, for now

Regardless, our industrial prowess is unstoppable, and the tide across the Channel and Atlantic will not end. The war will be decided on the ground in France, not in the skies above Britain!

As for DoM and TDoF, I'd like human minors as Ohwell would. It would be more interesting for all of us, and I'm patient enough to add two more posts per cycle. But Kobiyashi's right that you two would probably have more fun starting a new thread since you only need one more player. But that's in your best interest, not mine... :sad:

woo hoo! I was waiting for this

Hold on...

Comrade Stalin is enraged over the bombing of airbases by the Axis. He vows to have revenge on the Axis, through whatever means neccesary.

:lol: (Bombing of airbases:confused: ) :lol:

Yeah man! this is the way it was meant to be. Soviets come out slugging at the first bell.

:D Well, I wanted to force them out....guess I succeeded. The Allied aren't very passive either. ;) Gonna be a quick war I think.

The German war machine keeps on going. In a large tank battle at Lwow, 3 Russian BT-7 tanks were destroyed, together with a Russian Fighter Squadron. One Fighter Squadron is kept alive, so he vcan fly home and tell his people about the terrible German war machine. German losses were limited to one bomber and a tank unit. More up north the last pieces of Polish and Latvian armies were crushed and the last cities were taken: Riga and Vilna.
In the West the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe achieved some succes against the Allied in the battle of Cherbourg, which is lasting for 2 weeks already, and has come into the stage where tanks are participating. Two tanks destroyed including 2 fighter squadrons anda bomber. One Spitfire squadron managed to escape our efforts. In France the anti-French actions didn't stop for the allied invasion: Nantes fell after some bombings and Vichy surrendered for the power of tanks. In the Balkan peace was signed in Belgrado after the city was taken and the Yugoslavian leader himself was captured. He wasn't so brave at all, he should've listened to his king in the first place (who signed an alliance with the Germans).
The German general Von Sponeck was quoted in the national newspaper saying he looked forward to fight the fellow-Arian British, and pittied the poor Germans that are at the Eastern Front fighting the low, filthy Russian crowds. Of course this is only Von Sponeck's opinion.

- Immediate recapture of Cherbourg by the Allies unfortunately results in its destruction. Base of continental operations transferred to Brest, as temporary as this may become.

- An empty Tobruk finally falls, and the decisive battles in the desert preceding it can only tell us that Benchazi, Misratah, and Tripoli are all mere dominoes. Italy is within our grasp, and the barbarians will have fun facing a third front at Munich. :mwaha:

- I literally beg Stalin to give his all in the next months to draw troops from France; maintaining the Western Front is in both our best interests. (PM me if you wish to discuss tech help, or perhaps even troops)

- The Royal Navy sees little difficulty in emptying Amsterdam, however it unfortunately had no occupation force. Ragardless, Amsterdam would be indefensible, so perhaps this was for the best. The main point is that it brought the British leadreship's realization of naval bombardment's value, and soon the panzers in France shall see how Brittania rules the waves...

Well I hope the bell didn't come too soon... but I'd better act quickly and get Berlin before the Allies... trust me you are NOT getting Moscow OR Stalingrad Mr. Hess...;)

I'm gonna be busy today and later today so I'll have my game up in a couple of days:)

well, don't make this game too short, Ohwell

Sure, Mr.Stalin, whatever you want.....

No, there were about three defenders, and I smoked 'em. I had no idea how useful the capital ships can be in this game; I'm even building more.
