  • Ohoho. Do tell. Well I'm co-playing Louisiana with NK so we can faff about as we are wont to do. I can forward you some of the worldbuilding if you like.

Bombshoo and I ended up with some good compromises on Africa, among them eliminating the Pedicle, expanding Dutch Namibia up to the Bie Plateau, and bringing Rome south to Lake Albert.

Good suggestions would be good, though.
You should consider playing something in bombshoo's NES, even if it is just for jollies. :p
Connotation. Saying that "there was something valuable in the USSR" comes across very differently from, for instance, "for the people of the former USSR, transitioning to their new governments was like going from bad to worse"

You've ruined my philosophical poetry :(
I just thought I'd explain my avatar, since it isn't the proper thread for it I hope you don't mind if I post it on your wall :). Its a doll of Maximon, aka Saint Judas. Maximon has a ton of shrines in Guatemala, he's an interesting mixing of Maya beliefs and resistance to Spanish culture. Many saints have some connection to ancient Maya gods [Saint Francis, Luke, etc.], but only Maximon is so flagrantly a stand up to the old world.
Honestly unless the Clippers take the third seed, more likely than not it's going to be a first round exit for the Warriors :/
"It has been confirmed by both companies that Episode VII will be an original story and not directly based on the various novels, graphic novels, or other materials in the Star Wars Expanded Universe that take place during the post-Return of the Jedi time period. This includes, most notably, Timothy Zahn's 1991 novel Heir to the Empire, the first installment in Zahn's Thrawn Trilogy, which was originally considered by some fans to be Episode VII."

Got your torches and pitchfork ready?
What is it about nationalists that they feel compelled to drag their usually crappy countries into discussions about entirely unrelated things? See: City States, topic: about London. Pole comes in starts talking about Polesaw the capital of Poland. Thread Poled.

I'm all Poled out. It must be some kind of Polettes Syndrome.

Pole pole pole. Why must they Pole me so?

    Stop Poleing around with terrorists.
    Good day.

If you fancy I have made a party for the CFC presidental election. Here it is if your intrested.
Thanks for clearing that up. I was under the mistaken impression that it was a discrete even such as the Revolt of the Admirals or something.

    Appreciated,
    Hobbs
Finally what interested me the most is where Germany goes from here? Is Mitteleuropa and the economic union possible?

And Russia, man I really want to see what happens in Russia. So Bolsheviks crushed, but surely the left will rise again. And the right too. Because Russia has become a German economic colony. No patriotic Russian will stand for that for long. That will be quite interesting to see.

I know less about China but the Republic vs. Qing is interesting. Yet I have to wonder how long that will last. China hasn't often had sustainable divisions in its history. For whatever that is worth.
