  • Hello, this is a friendly reminder that you have yet to send orders for this turn in SKNES II.

Also, I apologize for not responding to your aim message; I'd apparently left my computer on while I went to sleep, and I didn't see that you had sent me something until earlier today.
hey, so i think i'll have a very rough draft of rules, nations, etc. that i'll post in the nes ideas thread sometime tomorrow. just as a head's up. :)
    Good day.

I wish to give my condolences on what happened to your NES. :(

If you do find difficulties Beyond the Lampshade could provide a place that is not plagued with zealous ill that hindered all that desired to play. We will condemn the entire player base in the name of "inclusion."

Help me help you. Beyond the Lampshade's sandbox could use using more and we do need more members, just as you need a forum that's community is governed with justice and fairness as oppose to zealous to one or the other.

    Balance is key.

Consider this invitation well and invite as many as possible with if you if you agree.
I assume thats a 'no', your going to reject me no matter what? Well thanks, I really, really enjoyed this NES. Lots of fun.
Look, you've made it obvious you have a dislike of me for remarks that I have little knowledge about. However, I would rather like to know: Should I change my post into something more realistic after a bit of research, or are you flat out set against me joining? I would rather not waste my time if all you are going to do is keep rejecting me based on these 'remarks'. However, if you are willing to put aside what you have apparently heard about me, then I will indeed change that post, as I have said in the thread that I will.

    Would appreciate an answer.
I would prefer a clear up/down on whether or not to continue incorporating Polywell. I'll probably try and have something more substantive extending to 2038 soonish.
Explain? Was under the understanding that all second tier nations were free game according to front page?
I love Prometheus both for the sci fi aspect and because of some of the analysis I've seen. It's really kind of a dark comedy, centering around Fassbender's character. Liz Shaw seems like she's representative of some kind of "plucky humanity", begrudgingly earning the android's respect where other humans couldn't.

That's a good enough explanation I guess! Works for me :)

He talked about the West explosion about 5 times by my count, including that day. He seems to be the only guy staying on the case, which I appreciate. He also has not let up on drones, even during the election.

I could see how his style could chafe, but he's self aware of his flaws and trying to fix them that he's earned my respect. Plus his last show (Up, a two hour panel discussion bloc on Sat/Sun mornings) gave me real hope about...I dunno, rational political discourse in a CONSUMERIST WASTELAND or some other equally dramatic description of the US :p
Finally someone else is a Prometheus fan! Geeze that movie gets so much grief here.

On Chris Manchild Hayes, I actually don't have anything against him. I don't watch his show because it's not in a timeslot where I watch the news at. When I picked on him it was really just out of irony that his topic was about terribad reporting and yet he wasn't reporting on the West, TX blast.

Truth is though I didn't watch his whole broadcast, only quick snippets, so he may well have commented on it. My main point is that MSNBC (which I love) and Fox (which I watch because know thy enemy and all) are terrible primary news sources and get so obsessed with counterprogramming each other's BS that they completely neglected a major news story.
Hey, I hope you didn't think I was dissing you in the Maduro election thread. I was jabbing luiz. He deserves whatever he gets. The old saying is, if you are in a legal dispute, and the law is against you, pound the facts; if the facts are against you, pound the law; if BOTH are against you, pound the table. luiz likes to pound the table. Now, you know why.
But is you or is you not a red? [/Katt Williams]

Were you thinking about China? That would be most welcome, I know that is a sore gap in our collective knowledge sphere.
