1.21 beta

Where should I find the crash log?

On OSX, all crash logs can be found in the /Utilities/Console app. I don't know where they are kept on Windows, but all crashing applications should generate one. May have to google it if you have a PC.

Planning to upload the final version in a day or two, let me know quick if you've got any other bug or balance reports.

Food or hammer from trade route with free market civic are more than city screen in 1.20.

1. Wrong capitals:
1.1. Harun al-Rashid: Baghdad (not Mecca)
1.2. Dido/Hannibal: Carthage (not Tyre)
2. Wrong capital location: Teotihuacan/Tenochtitlan should be 1E.
3. The Dissent Adviser is called TXT_KEY_REVOLUTION_WATCH.

Civilopedia entry for the Iroquois Longhouse UB says it provides 0 Amber. Is this just a rounding error for it being a Huge map?

The Well building can be built in cities that are on the *corner* of a river. (Incidentally, improvements that have a bonus when next to a river, such as towns and workshops, don't receive it on such tiles either.)

And it looks like it's not just the new leaders who are missing diplomacy text: Sitting Bull's initial greeting text seems to have disappeared as well.

The corner thing seems to be a problem with Civ itself. Lumbermills, for instance – in the base game, they don't get +1:commerce: on a corner.

I'll take a look at that after 1.21 is released. I don't think Firaxis ever intended that functionality to be used, several other oversights like this too.

1.2. Dido/Hannibal: Carthage (not Tyre)

Have fixed, thanks.

Oops! I entered the free Woodsman promotion in the free resource line instead. Fixed.

There may be a bit of that. I made changes so that leaders will use their custom greetings and messages all the time, rather than as a random chance along side the default generic versions. This will make any broken or missing entries a lot more obvious.

Been working at it but I'm not going to get custom diplomacy text written for all the new leaders, not unless we want 1.21 delayed another week or more. So some will just have to have generic greetings for now. There's a lot of leaders with diplomacy text that I borrowed from elsewhere that I'd like to rewrite someday too. Not a fan of the silliness and/or informality some of them have.

Just tuning in-- should I wait for v.21 or download the Beta?

Wait for 1.21. Hoping to upload it tonight or tomorrow morning.

Yeah, I'm using the built-in 'isRiverSide()' function for the check. Better to be consistent I think.

Could you post a crash log and the exact path you've installed HR at?
